We recently stayed at the spruce cabin. I can honestly say it was a beautiful, secluded cabin in the woods, and it was an absolute dream. The setting was peaceful, surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of nature. The best part was the private lake just a few steps away from the cabin. Waking up to the mist rising off the water and watching the stars over the water was magical.
The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, with rustic charm but modern comforts. The wood-burning fire pit added a perfect touch in the evenings, and the large windows allowed for stunning views of the surrounding forest. The owners truly thought of everything when building this cabin. From the picnic tables, outlet locations, to the hot showers and the motion lights made everything so much easier. Also the bed and the space heater in the cabin were so comfortable.
Kayaking while fishing on the lake and seeing the northern lights were the highlights of our stay. The water was calm, perfect for a leisurely paddle or a morning workout, and it felt like the whole lake belonged to us. We spent hours exploring the shoreline, spotting wildlife, and soaking in the tranquility.
If you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature with the added bonus of kayaking and fishing right at your doorstep, this cabin is the perfect escape. I left feeling refreshed and reconnected with nature. Highly recommended and hopefully we can stay again soon!

What an amazing gem! The perfect romantic camping spot! Cabins with heat and AC and gorgeous views. Private lake with floating dock and boats for your use, firewood, fishing supplies, stunning outdoor shower. With only two neighbors, it's secluded and fun!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and cabin with us! We had such a great time exploring the area from Lake George to Saratoga but coming back to a quite place and having a campfire took the cake for us! Our 2 dogs Sadie and Axle absolutely loved being able to be apart of out vacation! Thanks again for having us and hopefully we'll be back one day! Cheers!

Waking up each morning in a comfy bed with a million dollar view of a pristine lake reflecting the surrounding trees on its surface amid the sounds of chirping birds was like being in paradise. Amenities were top notch. A great balance between having creature comforts and experiencing nature. Plenty of privacy. Great for a romantic get away.

Had such a great time visiting Luke's property and staying at the Spruce. The week started off very hot and humid but the air conditioner and ceiling fan kept the cabin very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find the cabin stocked with coffee, creamer, garbage bags, papertowels, extra lights and games and books to name a few. The refrigerator and microwave was an added bonus.
We were able to use the kayaks and buy some firewood while there and my son enjoyed swimming in the lake...well actually a pond but big enough to seem like a lake.
I can't say enough good things about this place...the view, the ammenities, the comfortable cabin, I can go on and on. My brother was able to rent the Hemlock next door while we were there so it made sitting around the campfire even more enjoyable.
I'll definitely be back to watch the fall foiliage.

We loved staying in the Hemlock cabin! The surrounding area is very peaceful and full of little trails to wander through. The pond was great but the kayaks available all the time was a huge perk as well. It’s very centrally located. 5 minutes to the grocery store, 20 minutes to lake george, and 20 minutes to saratoga springs. All while being quiet and peaceful. We will be coming back every year!
