Wunglebung is a beautiful remote 1600 acre working cattle property on the upper Rocky River near Tenterfield NSW. The magnificent Rocky River and Bicentennial National Trail run through the property with National Park boundaries. There are tracks to follow and beautiful valley trails to drive and explore. There is plenty of wildlife and native flora to discover at Wunglebung. A true bush retreat, Wunglebung has areas designated for campers, vans, tents and motorhomes. 4WD access required for all sites but one. We offer bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking and lots of big sky star gazing. No overcrowding. No fishing. Please note we have no mobile or internet service available.

Kingfisher Camp

Cattle, cattle & more friendly cattle. Fabulous place, excellent camp sites. Beautiful grass with river access. We had a great couple of days and it felt much longer. This camping area is a camper's delight - flushing toilets, hot showers, swims at the crossing, and a warm and friendly host (Sarah). We'll be back for sure.

Drovers Rest Camp

We had a great time. Beautiful quiet spot, no mosquitos, good weather. We were at Drovers Rest. We also came six months ago and we stayed at Kingfisher which is closer to the toilets. Both spots are great and far from each other, you have your own privacy. Hot shower is the morning is the best, quite unreal!! We will be back for sure.

Night Watch Camp

A great camping spot w privacy between sites right beside the flowing river. Star gazing and swimming in the Rocky River. The drive in was made effortless by Sarah’s directions and very picturesque. Rustic showers and flushing toilets were a bonus and well maintained. Unfortunately w didn’t see The Platypus’s so 🤞next time

Unfortunately when we got there the river access into the property was flooded unbeknown to Sara the host so we were unable to get in to see it would have been good to have been alerted as we could have made other arrangements Sara was helpful and offered a full refund and we camped elsewhere
