Welcome to our beautiful 40 acre property with 800 mtrs of river frontage, just a stones throw from the historical village of Mogo and some of the best beaches on the South Coast. There is a lovely deep swimming hole with sandy area that all can enjoy. Shallow sandy areas are along the river, great for younger kids. Bring your kayaks, fishing gear, small tinny or SUP! We have eight beautiful, peaceful, spacious, riverfront, campsites ready for our guests. Just a short drive to the best south coast beaches of Broulee and Tomakin. Located halfway between Batemans Bay and Moruya, and 5km from Mogo. Great for shopping, eateries and Mogo Zoo. You can even frequently hear animals from our campsites! Campers need to bring everything and remove everything, leaving no trace. Bring your own supply of water. Firewood can be purchased by the wheelbarrow load, please add to your booking if required. Otherwise, BYO firewood. We have nine portaloo's available for use, they are situated throughout the property. Dogs are welcome if controlled at all times and do not bark or chase livestock. We have two Border Collies, so we are dog friendly for friendly well-behaved dogs. Please note, if we do not have availability, please get in contact with us anyway as we may be able to accommodate you by opening another site.

Loved camping at Tomakin River yet again! Lisa is a great host. Campsites are huge and plenty so usually no-one next to you (our nearest neighbours were over 100m away) Will definitely be back :) Thankyou!

Lovely campsite

We had a lovely weekend camping here, our campsite was right next to the river and there were kayaks available for us to use. The camp is dog friendly and has toilets available. There were only a handful of others camping also so plenty of space available. We are already discussing when we will come back here again!

Staying at Lisa’s property is always wonderful. The sites are huge, the river is beautiful, the wildlife is abundant and Lisa’s hospitality and care is next level. Thank you Lisa. You know we’ll be back!

Best HipCamp!

Best HipCamp we have been to. We had four families - nine kids between us and they had an absolute ball. Kayaking in the river and fishing (we caught two fish, which we put back). Whilst we saw other campers on the property when we drove in and out, we didn’t hear any other campers. Great to have the toilets for everyone to use. Lisa was a great host, greeting us on arrival and delivering us extra firewood for our second night. Everyone wished we stayed longer.
