Gob-smacking views of Nimbin Rocks. Photos can't convey the mystical presence you get in real life - it's like camping inside a poem. Horse-shoe bordered by 2km of Goolmangar Creek - known platypus habitat. Secluded - but only 5-min drive to Nimbin village, the alternative capital (pop 1,600) of Australia. Sites are out of eye-shot from 'the others'. Limit of five dispersed sites across 30 acres. You'll need to: Arrive Before Dark to be directed. Really, you do. Creek-sites suit experienced, self-contained campers (with 4wd) that like a bit of space. & know how to deal with their own shit. Literally. Cons: Must check-in before dark. Camping (especially creek sites) is weather-dependent - not accessible in extended periods of rain (by 4wd, or otherwise) - but who wants to camp in the rain anyway? In 'dry-windows', even 2wd is fine, but do check the forecast/correspond with me before booking. If it's looking grim, it's cool to cancel with 24-hrs notice. It's a farm. Not a centralized campground offering full-amenities or caravan access. As free-range campers 'on-that-farm, there are some free-range cows' (& chooks) . So you'll need to partially share the land with them. They're somewhat curious, but not aggressive.

Lovely guy, lovely property with a beautiful view. Would recommend self contained only as the toilet was a dunny connected to his house with about a third of a door like a stable. I don't mind a dunny, but personally I need a full door. On the bright side, beautiful view while on the toilet too.

We had a beautiful secluded spot down close to the creek. Perfect little overnight night getaway with wonderful views of the Nimbin Rocks. Fell asleep and woke to the sounds of the running creek and bird life. Weather was glorious and it was great to cool off with a swim in the creek and kick back beside the camp fire. Thanks Michael for sharing your property and I look forward to cooking up a storm with your free range eggs. 😀

Michael is a fantastic host. Excellent communication, very helpful, and accommodating. The spot was beautiful - clean, private, quiet, and we had the added bonus of his herd of cows visiting us! Highly recommend staying here; we will definitely be back!
