Conquer the hill, and the wildernes

Important tip about the road at the end
For the most part, we had a pleasant stay here. Brendan was friendly and helpful, and he also gave us plenty of space to do our thing. The kids did a lot of exploring and adventuring, they found the cows, even a little orange tree.
The fire pit was nice, and he was kind enough to leave out some wood for us to burn (thank you)
I loved the water system, the filter, and the chairs. Though they were wet when we arrive so I had to wait for the sun to come back out.
Super comfy.
The compost toilet was fun, the kids where a bit awkward about it but they needed that experience. It was clean and worked well.
A couple negatives I should mention, the shower provided in it's cubby area is so low to the ground it's unusable. I ended up using some of the rope provided to hoist it higher so the kids and I could get under it.
Heat up some water over the fire and it will be as warm as you want
The leeches I didn't expect, bring salt, and be careful to wear proper footwear always.
The big ants bite hard.
As for the road, I have a 2 wheel drive suv and I couldn't get up the last part of the hill. Everyone got out so I could drive up solo, and we tried 4-5 times.
I did manage to get up though. If you believe it, I ended up reversing the car up the hill. It worked a lot better with the power behind the car pushing up rather than front wheel drive trying to pull.
Thank you for the adventure Brendan, we all had a great time at your place.
