Our beautiful riverside farm is an owner occupied, 94 acre, private waterfront property, featuring excellent fishing, bird-watching and natural ecology. We’re located opposite Rawdon Creek Nature Reserve with pristine waterways to explore. Large 3 man canoe available. Camping is available in a choice of sites from open mown grass (with shade), to treed bush areas (4WD). Acres of open space for the kids! All campsites are large waterfront sites, with easy vehicle access. There is an undercover camp kitchen for site 1 with Gas or fire BBQ, good drinking water, 12v lighting and 12v power outlet. Peaceful enjoyment and low impact on other campers is our theme. If you want to party or make noise, then please book somewhere else! WE ONLY ALLOW Camper trailers, Caravans or Motorhomes. We have no toilets, you will need to be self contained. Dump points are at Wauchope and Port Mac. Your friendly dog is welcome, don't bring other dogs thanks! The last 3 klm of road to the farm is a council maintained gravel road usually in good condition. ** PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE SUNSET ** Additional vehicle by arrangement only. We also host events (up to 100 people) and we have a covered band stage, see pics below.

3. Open grassy area with shade

Had a fantastic stay. A beautiful riverside spot, secluded and peaceful and only 25 min to the beaches and cafes of Port Douglas. Scott was really helpful, a great host. We will be back.

Little Rawdon Island is truly an awesome place! It’s a peaceful and relaxing spot where you can easily unwind. The beautiful scenery, especially the magical riverfront view in the morning, is breathtaking. This tranquil atmosphere is further enhanced by the warm hospitality of Scott and Margaret, who are incredibly friendly and inviting. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special. It’s the perfect destination for those seeking a serene retreat in nature.

4. Grassy site, fishing at camp

Perfect Stay

This place is the definition of perfect 😍 We stayed in camp site 1, we had our own private camp kitchen with a sink, BBQ and fire pit. Scotts property is heaven. Very well maintained, beautiful and clean. Fishing straight out from our caravan was a bonus. Scott was an absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with, he had an abundance of knowledge and ideas for things to see and do around the area. Was only a short drive into Port Macquarie. Highly recommend booking this for your next stay. Thanks so much for your hospitality, we will definitely we back 😀

6. Secluded river bush camp (4WD)

Stayed at sites 6, amongst the trees, lovely private site for campers by the river looking for privacy. Perfect for 4wds with with camper trailers and small vans.
