Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions.
Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents.
We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share!
Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river.
Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily.
Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water.
Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network.
PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. The market is very slow so we do not expect a fast sale and will ask for a long settlement so please still book :)
Nice green grass and river is very nice. Fishing and paddle boarding was great. Stayed one night. Arthur was really nice and his dog dusty loved a pat and play. Would stay again.
What a beautiful weekend we had for my birthday. We booked the main site, number 2, with the loo with not much view. The composting toilet was cleaner than most toilets and had all amenities required. Best of all, no smell. In fact, it had a pleasant air freshener smell.
The grass was freshly mown, which was great as there had been a bit of flooding the week before. This impacted the "boat ramp", having washed away some of the sand making it muddy, but not impossible to launch our kayaks.
There were deer that visited at night and early morning and we caught bass in the river. It was serene and we enjoyed the starry night sky on Saturday night when the cloud had gone.
