Site 3 - Shady Corner Orchard
Our family had a wonderful time at the farm picking fruit. The plums were lovely and juicy—the best we've ever tasted. Although it was raining, it didn't stop us from enjoying the quiet and friendly atmosphere. The staff was wonderful and made our visit even more pleasant. The food at the cafe was good, and we particularly enjoyed the chips and coffee. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we look forward to returning.

Site 4-Valley views in the orchard
Really nice place with campsite tucked away behind fruit trees. We had all the privacy we needed and could enjoy the beautiful scenery. One note is that site no4 is under power lines, so best to qvoid it during storm. Otherwise, all was perfect!

Good for a night or two.
This is a pretty good spot for a night or two. The position is quite private, but keep in mind you will be looking over a quarry as opposed to bush. Feeding the animals was great for my kids and the serenity at night was nice. It’s only a short drive to the local town with a supermarket and pub. You will need to complete a short drive (2 mins) if you want to use the toilet or other amenities.

Fruity fun
We really enjoyed our night at Canoelands, iand at the time we were there very private. The owners were super friendly. The dam is well worth the walk for a refreshing dip and the fruit picking adding an extra fun element. As mentioned in other reviews you do overlook the quarry, if you were hanging out there all day it could be annoying but we didn't find it too offensive and its wrapped up by 4 and then its beautifully quiet and the starry night sky was quiet something. On a hot day you are very exposed on the site as there is very little natural shade, no problem if you've got an awning (we don't!). We'd visit again for a quick overnighter away from the city and if you have young children they'll love the animals, fruit and play area !
