Shift Pod
Art City glamping done right
Art City is a perfect example of why I love this state. Our shift pod stay was extremely comfortable and clean, and the grounds are built with sustainability and preservation of the natural landscape at the forefront. The small team onsite was friendly, informative and helpful. The amenities were top notch and catered to a group culture of inclusivity and fun!!

ART city is truly an oasis! To be able to experience the many interactive, moving and creative art sculptures up close and personal as well as to see them light up at night was memorable! We really loved camping under the cottonwood grove and there is everything you need to tent camp and glamp, from an outdoor kitchen to compost toilets to the wood burning hot tub under the stars. Matty and crew are truly amazing hosts and were warm and welcoming. Highly recommend and we will be back soon! An unforgettable gem in the beautiful New Mexico desert.

Wonderful spot to camp
Great property and loved the random art! The outdoor kitchen and toilet/showers are very nice! The camp sites are well kept! Perfect for our van camp adventures!

Tent under a giant cottonwood, outdoor showers were awesome, great company at the common kitchen table, and lots of creativity on display everywhere! ART-City is a must stop on the ol' Route 66.

One of a kind
Art City is a truly magical place! If you're into one-of-a-kind stays, this spot is perfect. Tucked away in the most charming town, it's run by a group of incredibly talented and genuinely kind people. I chose the open camping option since I needed a quick and easy stop during my drive from Denver to Houston. They give you the freedom to run around and explore their expansive property, filled with hidden art pieces and hammocks scattered all around—definitely a unique experience! Highly recommend!
