This charming land has been in the family since my husband was a young boy. The Indian ruins and artifacts fascinated him then and he is still happy to share this history with whoever shows an interest. With all the improvements made by his father and family through the years, you will also learn to have a love for the history and beauty here on this unique 30-acre treasure.  You can explore Native American ruins that were inhabited by some 2,000 people between 700-1100 AD. The grounds are wonderful to walk with a little lake which draws elk, deer, hawks, blue herons, etc. Easy to access just 3 minutes off I-25. We are 5 minutes away from the Pecos Natl Monument and 15 minutes away from the Pecos River with plenty of great fishing spots…Visit Santa Fe (20-minute drive) or Las Vegas (30-minute drive) with dozens of restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc. We look forward to your stay!

We had a change of plans
We actually had a change of plans and we’re unable to stay. It looks like a lovely place.

OpenSky-Full Hookups!
Excellent camping near Santa Fe
We enjoyed our 3 nights! We were in Open Sky, which is the middle spot between the other 2 large full hookup sites but still gave us plenty of space. The sunsets were very special! We were a little confused upon arrival as the hookups aren’t exactly where we expected, but we figured it out. Had to run sewer hose under our trailer to opposite side. We didn’t wander around too much but there was definitely a lot more to explore on the property. Very beautiful and peaceful. Recommend heading to Quick Burger down the road for at least one meal, soooo good! Santa Fe isn’t too far, we went down to the Plaza daily.

UpperEdge
Agua de Vida’s serene, beautiful, and timeless landscape is well-designed and maintained to provide a variety of camp sites to fit all needs. The Upper Edge site was perfect for our Aliner travel trailer in terms of privacy, quiet, ease, WIFI, and having water and electrical hook-ups. We loved taking our dog on the walking trail to see the little lake and to greet peacocks, chickens, and ducks. As someone who has a life-long interest in archaeology, I’m still amazed that our camp was just up the hill from the mostly unexcavated ruins of what would have been a very large, thriving Pueblo community over a thousand years ago. I’m so impressed that our hosts have protected this historic treasure while also generously sharing it with their guests. Brenda is a terrific host who makes communications and directions a breeze. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Five stars!

The Bay Campsite
Beautiful land. When I arrived in the evening, I saw a group of elk, a sweet kitty came to say hi, ducks came by in the morning and dragonflies. Peaceful mornings and starry nights. Heard a group of coyotes in the early morning. It is close to highway yet is a sweet tucked away oasis.
