The Fox and Crow Farm is happy to share their farm and Off Grid cabin with you! Only 1 secluded cabin located in the center of 100 acres and abuts an additional 300 acres of forest land. It is Private! Enjoy our hiking trails and find your way to the Crooked Run River. There is no electricity/running water. It’s “Off the grid”. Solar lighting/shower, outhouse onsite. Handy kitchen and dining area with first floor sleeping. You won't want to leave. Just bring food and drinks and unwind in a certified wildlife habitat. No pets are allowed at this cabin. You must hike to the cabin (1/4 mile hike, down hill which means there is a slight climb to get back to your car) So pack light. The cabin includes some taxidermy and fragrances and the woods are home to bugs and wild animals. Please be sure you understand the overall experience here before booking. We close our gate to the farm after 6pm to limit traffic through the farm so come prepared for a campfire cooked dinner and plan to relax. The cabin is 11x14 post and beam with a loft and a newly added outdoor kitchen and dining area. The newly designed summer kitchen addition has a 3 burner propane cooktop and sink. We added sliding barn doors on both sides so you can have it as open or closed as you want! The cabin has a queen size platform bed on the first floor and neat little "chill spot" up in the loft. It does get hot up there in the summer! All linens are provided and the sheets are from Red Land Cotton, 100% Cotton grown in American and Made in the USA. All lighting is solar! Outdoors you have a large sized fire pit and plenty of firewood to burn with tree stump seating. We provide plenty of cast iron cookware for a real backwoods country meal. There is a picnic table and up to 10 gallons of potable water. The east side of the cabin has a solar shower (bring your own towels) Tucked into the woods is the outhouse with solar lighting. The cabin was built by hand with windfall pine trees from our farm. Each board and beam was cut right here on site on our bandsaw mill and hand notched for superior construction and look. The cabin does not have electricity or running water. We did install plenty of bright solar lighting for you though! You must hike in to the cabin. It’s about a 1/4 mile hike on foot. 1 night here is ok, 2 nights and you really get to settle in... 3 nights you won't want to leave! The farm animals are not part of this rental or experience. They should not be approached during your stay here. This is not a petting zoo. There may be fragrances like candles in the cabin. The sheets are washed in laundry detergent. There is also taxidermy as decor and bugs and animals live in the woods. If you’re sensitive to these things please reconsider.

Off Grid "Windfall" Cabin Retreat
Great little cabin in the woods, small but not cramped for two. Solar lights worked great. Appreciated all the firewood.

Off Grid "Windfall" Cabin Retreat
Adorable, cozy off-the-grid stay
This cabin was absolutely adorable -- a lovely, cozy retreat in the woods. We had an AWD vehicle, so could drive straight to the site, which was great since we had a lot of stuff with us. The setup truly has everything you need, including solar lights outside. We hope to be back to visit!

"Ravens Nest" Off-Grid Campsite
Stayed here with a group of 4. Plenty of space on the platform for 3 tents to fit. We were able to walk down towards the stream to take pictures and observe some wildlife. We got to see a porcupine climbing a tree! Directions to the site were straight forward, and the host provided quick responses to every question we had. This is exactly what I was looking for this weekend.

"Ravens Nest" Off-Grid Campsite
We had an excellent time camping at The Fox and Crow Farm. The campsite was a short hike down the hill into the woods from the parking area - pull cart provided to help haul gear. Large tent platform, picnic table, large fire pit, sitting stumps and water were all provided. The campsite was very secluded and private. Theres was nice little river down the hill from the campsite - about a 15-minute hike, but it was pretty low during our stay in late summer. Overall we had a great stay. Highly recommended!
