Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".Southernmost Point is a secluded campsite nestled along the Little Sugar River. We recommend four wheel drive/AWD. This is a very large campsite. We have had solo campers to large groups enjoy this space. Tents and small, off-road type vans and trailers are welcome.

Firewood provided, firepit, private. Campers have an option to collect their own firewood from the surrounding area. Any branches, brush, and downed trees are free for the taking. Please don't damage any live trees, including birch bark. We also have firewood bundles available for purchase. In an effort to lessen the likelihood of spreading invasive species, such as the Emerald Ash Borer and disease, we ask that you not bring any outside firewood to Sweet Song Acres. Please note: Campfires and cooking fires are only to be burned within designated fire pits. Please fully extinguish fires prior to leaving your campsite or going to sleep. During times of extreme drought and town or statewide burn bans, campfires will not be permitted.
Toilet available

We ask that you only use the chlorine-free, biodegradable toilet paper provided and refrain from throwing any other trash, sanitary products, etc. in the pit. When away from the outhouse, such as when hiking on the mountain please properly dispose of any solids, paper, and trash.
Pets allowed
Off leash. We consider our dogs to be family! We love seeing well behaved dogs enjoying their time off leash. Please make sure they are under your control at all times, that they stay in your campsite, and that barking is kept to a minimum. Thank You Chiefy and Tina!
Tent · Group trip
Myself and 4 friends visited in early November and stayed at the Southernmost Point campsite. We had an absolute blast and the camp set-up was very convenient apart from some tree stumps around the site that make extra lighting necessary. Chiefy and Tina were lovely hosts that regularly asked us if we needed anything and delivered extra water to our camp site when we ran out. The water is right next to the campsite which was incredible to hear at night and added to the peacefulness of the area. There were very few “issues” I had with the trip. One was that the firewood prices were quite high for the piles that were provided but I appreciate that the wood was brought directly to our campsite. We also initially were concerned with the small size of the fire pit but we were able to reconfigure the stones to allow for more room. The outhouse was pretty smelly but kept very clean and hand sanitizer, toilet paper and soap were all provided! Overall, we had a lovely time. We tried out the hike on the property which was VERY steep the entire way up but had a great view at the top. The weather was too cold to go into the river but i’m excited to hopefully visit again and do so in the future! Thank you again for an amazing trip!
