Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's most treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an ecofriendly, Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. The Best Site Ever - Site 7

Nick is super hospitable and manages a wonderful and special place. We loved staying here at site 7, using the sauna/taking a cold plunge, and enjoying the peaceful and remote landscape.

Site 6 - Tippy Top

A True Sanctuary

We had a lovely, restorative experience at Sacred Nectar Sanctuary! The site itself was incredible spacious with beautiful views, and the land was filled with so many thoughtful and creative touches and details. It was a treat just to take our time wandering around and exploring. We loved the sauna so much we went back for another round our second night, and Nick was very responsive and helpful getting it going for us. Can’t wait to return!

The Best Site Ever - Site 7

The atmosphere was very beautiful and well kept. If you plan to camp there in the fall time, I highly recommend to bring a lot of things that’ll keep you warm (sleeping bags, blankets, etc) as it can be a little cold due to the wind and altitude. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic place to camp!

Nick is a talented and gracious host. Running such a sanctuary takes a lot of work and creativity to pull off. Place is perfect and the morning walk throughout was beautiful. Quiet camping at night with anything u need.
