ATFS Certified Tree Farm Est. 2004 Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include... Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy! That said, if you’re looking to venture off-mountain and explore we’re in a great area to do that. We’re located only 7 minutes off Exit 14, NH Route 16 N. Places to visit nearby include... Baxter lake (public access) 5 minutes south. Portsmouth 25 minutes south. Lake Winnipesaukee 20 minutes north. Gunstock mountain resort 25 minutes north. NH’s White Mountains 40 minutes north. Conway 1 hour north. Things to do on the mountain in WINTER include... With snow, our unique network of forestry trails and glades are transformed into downhill ski/snowboard runs, snowshoe routes, and snowmobile trails. Site 1 Base Camp becomes ski-in, ski-out and is our only available site during ski season.

We had an amazing weekend camping at Eben’s farm! The campsite was perfect – peaceful, well-maintained, and with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. Eben was an incredible host, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was super friendly and always willing to help. We left feeling so grateful and relaxed. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming spot to camp!

THE RIDGE at Hussey Mtn Tree Farm

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful property and our campsite (the ridge) was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately it was too windy for us to have a fire but there was a beautiful fire pit, firewood available for purchase, a nice tent platform to set up on. It was the perfect campsite! Highly recommend staying here, but know they really aren’t lying about the hike up to your site. It was quite steep and with the leaves/acorns pretty slippery too. Definitely a pack light trip!!

BE AWARE OF COST PER PERSON

I never write a bad review, I’d rather just say nothing at all, but everyone needs to be aware of the cost of this Hipcamp. The price that you see when booking includes just 2 people. Every additional person is $25 per night. Including kids… kids who are there to just play outside. I accidentally didn’t add in the correct amount of people when we booked this site (I must’ve been distracted by my 3 kids) and was hit with a huge additional fee at the end of our stay. But if I had booked this site correctly, it would’ve been 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) for 2 nights with gear transport and firewood and I would’ve seen our total of $501 and we would not have gone . Huge mistake on my part. For our trip, I luckily didn’t end up going camping the first night and just went the second night and friends came along. I’m so glad I saved myself $75 by not going the first night because I would’ve been charged that at the end. As we were loading up the car, we were approached by the host and told that we owed an additional $25 per person for the second night for 7 people. An extra $175 total. The site itself is a pretty far walk and you have to pay $50 extra for gear transport on an ATV. You also have to pay for wood to be there which is $45 for 5 bundles. I love Hipcamp, but to charge $25 for a kid per night is completely unreasonable and we won’t be staying here again, we simply can’t afford it.

Best Views, Fun Hikes.

Thank you here is the updated review: Wow, this place is amazing! We had so much fun hiking the trails across the mountain and taking in all the views. The views could not be better! Located on private land, it feels totally secluded and has great night sky views for star gazing and a great sunset lookout. The views of Mt. Washington from all camp sites and especially the top of the mountain are awesome. The camp sites are the most equipped and have the best views out of all Hipcamps we’ve tried over 5 years of using the app. There was a fire pit with usable cooking rack, sturdy clean table, tools, cart to move things, and the mulched tent site was comfortable. We appreciate Eben being so considerate of camper's needs and for being so helpful! Bring real hiking boots and you’ll love every second this mountain has to offer, no need to leave this all-in one-playground! We needed the ATV to bring our things up which usually makes us hesitate, but now we know, it was worth every penny. We’ll be coming back year after year without a second thought on the ATV or price. This is exactly what we look for on Hipcamp! Seriously, this one is hard to beat for an experience in the woods. This is the best kind of camping! The pond and dock are really nice for pictures too. Thank you Eben!
