Welcome to Horseshoe Bend located in Tamworth NH! Very Private tent sites on the Bearcamp River! Come take your shoes off, relax and enjoy a soak! Most have Tent Platforms. There's plenty of dry and wet sandbars around each site. Make sure you bring a rope, tie off and enjoy the sunshine! https://visittamworthnh.com/about ALL sites now have designated wood fire pits and propane firepits. If its DRY enough high clearance vehicles may be permitted to drive to the sites. This is a case by case weather depending basis so message me with your vehicle info and keep an eye on the weather. Site 2 is RV/Small camper capable Add/Like us on Instagram Horseshoe Bend NH :) https://www.instagram.com/horseshoebendnh?igsh=MXViNm15cmZwOGdwOA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr https://www.publichouseonpagehill.com/ They have the best Sunday Brunch with a view! https://farmtotablemarketnh.com/ PLEASE READ: Sorry but Absolutely NO discharging firearms or fireworks. They are prohibited due to dry fields, other campers and neighboring houses. Side note there is a gun range a few miles away! If needed Propane Firepits and easy pull wagons will be provided for each site except site 4 at the moment. You just need to bring a BBQ propane tank to hook up to the firepit. One full tank usually 4-5 nights. The store a couple miles away sells and exchanges them. You will park by the road, grab a cart (if needed) in the red shed and walk through the field (mowed walkway) to your specific site. When leaving please be respectful for the next campers. Make sure the site is clean, Firepit cover put back on and all garbage taken out with you. Please put carts back in the shed for the next hipcampers to use. Thanks! ALSO checkout our RV friendly sites at Stagecoach falls a couple miles away! To get to your reserved site just walk to the left around the red shed and follow the mowed path through the field until it splits into three paths. Site one is to the left. Site 2 the middle path. Site 3 is the right path. Even though we haven't seen any there are bears in New Hampshire so: Secure coolers, grills, cooking utensils, any food not in use, snacks, and anything with food odors inside the locked compartment of a vehicle or trailer or a bear proof storage locker if available. Wipe off picnic tables and grills. Properly discard aluminum foil used for cooking. Do not keep food/snacks in or around your tent!

Rivers Edge site 2
A lovely stay along the babbling river. A primitive site, but the solar bistro lights are a very nice touch. Flat, easily accessible in dry weather, and quiet.

Rivers Edge site 2
27th birthday with friends .
Site was absolutely beautiful and private , site 2 does not have one of the nice platforms to lay a tent on but I think it's made up for with how beautiful it is to be right on the river ! Fishing was ok here we spent north of 7 hours and only got 1 trout lol but over at White lake one of us caught a 2.7 lb bass . Really nice being 5 minutes away from McDonald's as well it made not having a toilet a non issue . Only thing to keep in mind is there really isn't much shade so when sun comes out bring something to shield you do you don't get to hot (: Kevin was responsive and answered all my questions

Site 1 Very Private Riverfront
Gorgeous private spot with immediate access to cold water wading. My dog was in heaven. The only downside was the near constant sound (during the day) of race cars from the tracks nearby.

Private Beachfront Site 3
H2O Chill Zone.
Kevin was great with timely, accurate communication through the lead up to our trip, even while he was in AZ, the day we arrived - totally chill. This is a fantastic location for relaxation, by a beautiful lazy little twisty creek, with a literal, sandy beach along it. It was low at the time, but I would imagine this could rip, with some rains. Kevin had some nice touches at the site - great tent platform, a wooden swing, a hammock down by the water, solar party lights, a propane fire pit as an option to the wood one, solar lights along the drive path to the site. Mountain range surrounds a beautiful, grassy field that turned golden in the days last rays of sunlight, as we watched a beautiful sunset unfold. There are several sights near by, but private enough, though if we had had someone stay at site 4, just next to us (we were in site 3), it might have been tight. Highly recommend and Kevin is a sound guy to rent from. Thanks Kevin - just what my wife and I needed for a quick getaway.

Bear Paw Private Riverfront Site 4
Site 4 is a wonderful spot. Right along the river with a private and secluded feel. I'll definitely be back.

Rivers Edge site 2
Great small group spot !
Place was perfect for the weekend with 5 adults and 3 dogs. Only feedback I have is that the race track is near and can be pretty loud . We were there to really hang out and use the site and river and the races dod get a little loud. But all else was absolutely perfect. Site two fits tents nicely. They are in the sun but we had a gorgeous cool, evening and warm Days there so we were quite happy! It's close to town for getting ice and supplies so that part was great too. Bit secluded enough though felt like you were away.
