Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.Boulder Brook is a small wilderness campground with a parking lot, a shared outhouse, firewood for sale, and 4 campsites. Boulder Brook offers a charming camping experience with sites nestled by a picturesque brook. Campers appreciate the well-maintained amenities like the clean outhouse and spacious tent platforms. The sound of the brook adds to the tranquility, though some campers note the nearby expressway can intrude on the peace. The host, Peter, is frequently praised for his helpfulness and dedication to keeping the site in top condition.

Great Spot
Tent · With pets
Wow! We winter camped here. Site was clean, private, next to a beautiful stream, immaculate outhouse, local wood right next to sites. Excellent cell service. Had to park up the hill without a 4 wheel drive in the winter (due to ice and snow down by stream) so pack light if you're crazy like us and camp in the off-season. Can't wait till come back in the Spring!

Best experience ever
Tent
Peter was so helpful and amazing! Without a doubt the best host, very attentive about us even before we got to the site. We got our car stuck and he literally moved the earth with his tractor to help us get up the road in the snow. I cannot recommend him and his site enough. The campground was so clean and organized, the backcountry bathroom was spotless and really nice. Site three was so beautiful near the river with firewood easily available. 100000/10!!!

Private, forested, brookside sites
Tent
All three sites offered beautiful views of the forest and brook, and they all felt private (we camped at site 2 but were able to check out the other spots--and all 3 site were occupied that night). Amenities were top-notch--large campfire areas, spacious tent platforms, easy access to dry firewood, and a well-maintained composting toilet. The one downside to this lovely spot was some road noise from the nearby expressway (although the crackling campfire and rushing brook mostly masked the traffic sounds). Anyone who is a light sleeper may want to bring earplugs or headphones.

Boulder Brook is Great!
Tent · Group trip
Boulder Brook is a great campsite and you can’t go wrong with site 1, 2, or 3. All 3 sites sit on the river, and are cozy, secluded, and spacious. There is a nice large wooden platform for your tent, along with a fire pit with log stools and fire wood to buy. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. We had a great time camping here and would definitely come back again!
