Kris was an awesome host! I was only there for a night for a wedding but would love to return for longer. The kitchen, shower, and sink were nice surprises. Thanks, Kris!

Blue heron Van, camper, RV site
Kris’s land is very peaceful and her energy very welcoming while also conscious and respectful of personal space and privacy. The rv/van parking is close to the road but it’s a pretty quiet, residential road and beautiful to walk along. If you are looking for total privacy and no contact with others then it may not be the place for you but if you’re looking for a peaceful, grounding respite with the potential for meeting kind souls then I highly recommend.

We enjoyed tent camping on Kris’s land- there was a nice private, flat spot in the yard semiclose to a composting toilet. The garden and chickens made a lovely atmosphere.

Blue heron Van, camper, RV site
Friendly host(s) but quite communal
Kris, our host, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and her property, and is as local librarian, very friendly. The site had 15amp hookup and a really cool outdoor shower, but had several WWOOF and WorkAway tenants randomly living on the property, and the composting toilet (outhouse) was quite a far walk from the RV site, the driveway in front of the garage where someone was living. The outdoor shower was really nice (But closed at 9pm)- and the chickens and bunnies (contained) were so friendly! If you are going to RV here, recommend you have your own toilet facilities, as the outhouse was quite a hike, and in complete darkness, kind of terrifying. Having quiet hours after 9pm was a little rough if you're coming in late, as the tenants on the property do all live in close proximity and wake up at 5am. Would be a nice stop for a night or two if you're traveling through, but didn't really feel very private. Again, host(s) were incredibly friendly and helpful, but I was hoping for slightly more privacy and not feeling like we were in someone's way. A very cool property though - and this might be on me for reading thoroughly through the description of the listing.
