Immerse yourself in nature with convenient walking access to Welton Falls State Park and the extensive Cardigan Mountain trail system, where you can explore scenic routes leading to Mt. Cardigan, Fire Screw, Mt. Orange, Moglis, and other captivating destinations. Experience the perfect balance of seclusion and outdoor exploration in this idyllic mountain haven.Best of all worlds accessing a wilderness area , surrounded by a 100 year old forest, Stay warm with the wood stove and keep the Yurt warm when you return from a hiking or snowshoeing day, or play in the water falls near by. Walking access to Cardigan Mountain trail system. In the winter access to the Yurt will be a 1 mile snowshoe or ski or boot it, depending on the snow. In the Spring, summer or fall parking will be 200 yards from the Yurt.. No Electricty, or running water, outhouse is 100’ east of the Yurt. Bring sleeping bags as we do not furnish bedding . The Yurt does have propane cooking range, with plenty of pots and pans , dishes, silverware and condiments. We do not charge for cleaning , so please clean up .
