Our 8-acre property is located in the Mojave Desert surrounded by BLM land and nearby Death Valley National Park. One of the first vineyards in Nevada, we grow 5 varietals of grapes and make wine on-site. We offer guests camping, glamping, and an RV site.
Camping and Glamping sites are located next to the vines and include picnic tables, shared bathhouse with toilets and shower, outdoor kitchen (bbq, gas cooktop). We also have a community area "The Wine Hall" with ping-pong, shuffleboard, refrigerator, and microwave.
Outside our gates, enjoy biking, hiking, scrambling, and exploring the Amargosa Desert and nearby Skeleton Hills.
Nearby attractions include Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge (30-minutes) and Death Valley National Park (45-minutes). We have spent a lot of time in the park and are happy to answer questions, make suggestions, or even take you on a tour.
Very cool property. Lots of unique features. Easy access from I95. Perfect place to camp to breakup the drive between Red Rocks and home in Oregon. Easy back in and hookups for our trailer and the tent sites and glamping options looked good for those with other needs.
The only drawbacks, we didn’t get to meet the desert tortoise on the property and we didn’t get to sample the wine. We will definitely stay again.

I had a great experience camping one night in Brandon’s land. Very easy to communicate with, easy to find and exactly what I needed for a brief stop on my journey. The shower and cooking options were great and the kitties were a sweet bonus!

Great RV spot with amazing views of the stars. We stayed in the RV spot and had power hook-ups and wifi, which were great for our short time there. The other spots looked awesome as well. Definitely would recommend a stay!

Vines & Kitties

Very hip place, a small set of vines growing in the desert. Well laid out and what I think is unsaid is that on the clamping side there is really new, clean and accessible washrooms (with bidet) and showers.
Super friendly cats, so dog peeps take note or those with allergies also.
Fireplace, water taps, a "wine room" with staples and merch to purchase.
This place is far and away from roads and offers a peaceful nite.
Really good vibes.

We made a last minute decision to stay at tarantula ranch and we are so happy we did! The camp was an easy 40 minute drive from Death Valley national park. Upon arrival we were so pleased with the campground. The parking spots were clearly labeled and easy to back into. We loved the outdoor kitchen, bathroom facilities, outdoor shower, and the community room was awesome! A major plus for us was spending time with the 3 campground cats. They were such sweet cats and we enjoyed having them around!
