Fun for kids
We had a nice spot under the big trees, being the first ones there for the weekend we were offered that spot or one by the pond (that had no hookups). We were able to hookup to power & water easily. The kids enjoyed the swing set, feeding the goats, and finding toads around the yard. The grounds are beautiful and fun to explore. The little restaurant on site had limited hours, but great prices & products. The staff members were all very friendly - we had a great stay.

This place is okay
For the price, I wouldn’t say this place was totally worth it. Nothing fancy or special about it. The power hookup is not 30amp, which I didn’t realize until I got there. I’m not sure if it’s posted on the listing, so it may be my fault for missing it. The weather was extremely hot, upper 90s / low 100s. Both of my cats and I got overheated without the ability to run the AC. I work remotely, so I had to just endure it for the week. I left disappointed that the heat got the best of me during my stay and that I missed out on exploring the surrounding town because of it. Oh well, onto the next place.

Had a great time staying at Papa Moon. My daughter and the owners daughter are the same age and ended up keeping each other busy the two nights we were there. We spent a lot of time at the winery and made friends with all employees, who were fantastic! My only issue came at our departure. And by no means is this a showstopper. We had to do some fancy maneuvering to back out of our spot as there was a bigger rig parked at the other end of the turn around. There would have been no way for that rig to depart if we were still there. If I knew they were coming prior to me setting up, we could have arranged our locations a bit better. All in all, we had a fantastic weekend at Papa Moon. We would happily go back any day!

Unresponsive host
Host never responded to me! I drove miles out of my route to camp there! Noone at site upon arrival! Still no response from host! Had to find a hotel in town!

The electric is only 20 amp. Did not stay. Really wanted to taste their wine.

This was a delightful experience with beautiful surroundings and terrific hosts. Couldn't have scripted a better place if I had tried to imagine it.
