4 miles from Billings. 1000 acres. We try to keep things as natural as possible except we do mow the common area in the trees. For security reasons, we will meet you at the gates and escort you to your camping spot upon 1st arrival. Fire wood available for sale $10 - needs to be discussed before hand. Camping available on the butte for viewing of northern lights. Lots of room to explore. Long term camping is available. 1 porta-potty on site. There is 1 mile of dirt road after leaving the pavement. We are 6 miles from Walmart. This is a working cattle ranch and the cows come through time to time. The listing computer keeps putting us in LOCKWOOD but we are actually 3 miles north of Billings. Last minute bookings are fine, if we are around -we will let you stay. We live 1 mile from the camp site and 2 miles from the gates where we will meet you. If you are looking for a RV park or campground - this is not it. We have cows, birds, wild animals and dirt roads. There is no power but we could hook you up to a generator if needed. There is a new camper on site that may be rented ( owned by a different party) message us for details. The morning of you arrival, please send an ETA so we know how to plan our day, then give us a 30 minute heads up before arrival so we can meet you at the gates. Sometimes we also are 30 minutes away. A lot of the time you may be the only campers out here.4 miles north of Billings, MT. Multiple sites, in trees, overlooking the lake, in the rocks, or above buttes.  For security purposes we will meet you at the gates and take you to your campsite upon 1st arrival. We do not charge extra for children under 18. I have 6 kids myself. Common area with BBQ, fire pit, and picnic tables. Can accommodate any vehicle from car to semi. Someone is usually around so 1/2 hour notice for reservation may work. 4 miles from town and 5 miles from Walmart.  If you are looking for an RV park - this is not it. We are trying to be as natural as we can be. You will be camping with cows, coyotes, eagles, owls, deer, and antelope.   The large tree area is about 3 acres and can accommodate 7 campers so this might make a good place for family reunions etc. Potable water is available for an extra charge. We will set up a 300 gal. cistern next to the camper and refill as necessary.  *****We will meet you at the gates and take you to your spot.*****

Trees, Lake view, Rock buttes!
Beautiful views and cows!
Beautiful area, a really great set up with spectacular views and very friendly cows! Our kids loved the up close hang out. We had a good night and super quiet sleep, unfortunately it was SO windy the next morning, but obviously that's a hazard of camping. Our last camp night on a long two week road trip. I wish we had time to explore more, it was a great place.

Trees, Lake view, Rock buttes!
Private and serene
Exactly as advertised. Rustic and private. Amazing views during the day and crickets, frogs and coyotes serenading you at night. Great commutation from the host. Don’t forget your bug dope! The mosquitos here rival anything in Alaska.

Trees, Lake view, Rock buttes!
Disappointed
Meh. Dry dusty pretty crowded with others though no in in sight, but just behind next trees. Quite far off interstate (10-12 min?). Disappointing.

Trees, Lake view, Rock buttes!
This is one of our favorite Hipcamps so far! The property is gorgeous and offers a great spot for camping. We especially loved eating our meals amongst the roaming cattle! The hosts were very kind and helped us get situated on the property. Would recommend!
