Lampert Ranch is a 3rd generation operating cattle ranch at the head of the Clark Fork River. Originating in the late 1800's by John Hoffman who earned his way from Germany to the US by shoveling coal on a steam ship for his fare. He walked from New York to Montana to start his homestead. This ranch still houses the remains of an old stage coach stop and the old Milwaukee Railroad bed.

Privacy AND a full hook up! Perfect

The Ranch at Camp Boston

We had a lovely 2-day stay at The Ranch. It was awesome. We are wildfire smoke refugees from Seattle. We were looking for privacy, cellular service (so we could work) and clean air. We got all of that plus a full hook up for our RV and acres and acres of ranch land for our dogs to explore. They were happy and exhausted at the end of both days. I would definitely stay they again.

Private Full Hookups and Nice Hosts

The Ranch at Camp Boston

We spent three nights here on our first HipCamp experience. It far surpassed our expectations with a gorgeous sunset view.. We were in a very private area, fairly level, with full hookups if we needed them. The hosts were very gracious and we spent an evening discussing our lives and adventures with them. They have big plans to make the site even better. Would not hesitate at all to stay here.

I didn’t need a electric hookup so I was able to setup less than 10 feet from the river and catch trout right down the way

Beautiful property, private and comfortable. Angel set us up with a fire pit and wood, she and her husband gave us free reign to play anywhere on the property including football in the hay field. We would definitely go back.

Great spot! The owner gave us directions over the phone and came to meet us. We had a space all to ourselves that was quiet and cozy (i slept in a tent). Would recommend!

Can’t beat the view!

Absolutely spectacular wide open views. We saw no other people besides our host, which was awesome for social distancing. Loved it!
