Great Stay!
Beautiful area with tons of wildlife and farm animals. Great big open sky which made viewing the Orionids amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet farm retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Jennifer’s farm! We had several goals for this trip. We needed a dog friendly campground for our two large dogs when they could have a large play space (we used e-collars for our “leashes”). We also needed a quiet spot to introduce Max (our rehomed military working dog) to camping. I also was looking for a spot near where I could continue training our 2 year old Chessie for bird hunting. Jennifer’s farm exceeded our expectations and made achieving our goals easy. The site had ample room for our 28’ travel trailer. The spot was level and sunny. Be aware this is dry camping, we had ample water and grey and black tank capacity for our 4 day stay. We did run our small generator for a few hours each day to top off the batteries and charge our devices. Our dogs are used to livestock and they (and we) were very amused by the antics of the baby goats. The location is easy to get to from the main highway and We will return when we need to stay in the Arlee area again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet scenic getaway! I’d be remiss if I didn’t recognize Jennifer as a great host!

Rusty Nail Farm
I loved my stay on Rusty Nail Farm. Jennifer is a clear, prompt communicator with a built in kindness factor. I knew where to park, what to watch for, and when to arrive. She made space in her freezer for me, since I was traveling with a cooler of food! It was exactly the right amount of interaction and privacy. The view is phenomenal and reminds me of where I grew up - train sounds and all. I return every year.

Rusty Nail Farm
Had a peaceful evening at Rusty Nail, and had a great time chatting with Jen. We were able to fill up our small water stash and hung out with some goats. Avery, the pup, was a great little companion and we had no issues with our dog (barring her small amount of jealousy of Avery!) Definitely a great spot for a quiet night, if we weren’t on a longer trip maybe we would’ve wanted to try some eggs or meat. Thanks, Jen!
