Beautiful dark nights for observing stars! Big sky’s with amazing sunsets and sun rises. Quiet peaceful area close(30 min) to Glendive’s Makoshika state park, paddle fishing the Yellowstone, or bird hunting in the fall.
This campsite offers a serene and secluded experience, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests consistently highlight the peaceful surroundings, starlit skies, and the delightful bird songs that accompany them through the night. While the remote location can be a bit tricky to find, the hospitality of hosts Jessica and Randy shines through, making the stay worthwhile. Some visitors noted the lack of cell service, so it's best to plan your route in advance.
We absolutely enjoyed camping here for the second year in a row. And yes, we will be back next year. The host is so accommodating and ez to work with. The stars were absolutely magnificent!! Our stay was excellent!!
This place worked out well for me. I appreciated the hookups, tidy and well maintained site and the responsiveness of the hosts. It is fairly near the train, but not enough to bother and I like trains.
I was happy to have a place to pitch our tent. The directions were clear once we found it, meaning it took a bit of careful looking! Beautiful fields, bird song, guiet all night! Hipcamp is a great option for travel especially on 4th of July weekend!
Jessica communicates well. Thanks.
This spot was perfect to quickly pitch a tent in the middle of our road trip. The instructions made it easy to find, I enjoyed the peacefulness of the birds singing us to sleep vs the sound of the highway like other spots. The site was very open, right beside the field, the creek/pond was very low so there didn't appear much to do. However, for what we needed it was absolutely perfect! We slept so good and definitely would stop in again while on the road!
