Old Barn Studios is located on 20 acres of mixed pasture, woods and riparian area. It includes a trout pond big enough to float kayaks on. The actual stay is in a rv which has three tip out, open air, queen beds ( so much like a tent,) the RV has a full bath and kitchenette. Most of the living space is outside. There is a picnic table and fire pit. The Old Barn is home to a range of farm animals — sheep, goats, llama, chickens, dog, cats . It also offers two craft studios where classes are sometimes held in spinning, weaving, felting and other craft arts. The owner lives on site and welcomes new visitors personally. This site is private and situated north of the main house, behind a large pine tree and wood shed and adjacent to a small pasture. It is grassy, some leveling might be needed. It has a 50 amp hookup and water through a hose. It can accommodate large self-contained RVs or trailers. NO septic hook up but there is one near by. Amenities on this property include trout pond, short walking trails, barnyard animals (all pets and named...yes, even every chicken!), privacy and easy parking. The host lives on site and is usually home.

Not what we expected thankfully….
***Pleasant Surprise***When we pulled up, it seemed smaller than the photos and there is no running creek or river going to the small pond…. You’ll see that the site is within a few feet of the owners house which was odd…. The owner should definitely change the description to emphasize the trailer itself and the location’s closeness to the town of Hamilton which has tons of outdoor lakes, rivers and places to explore…. This is not a “camp site” but it is a home base after spending a day at lake Cuomo or at the many lakes and rivers fishing & rafting in town (3 miles from the town itself) There’s not a lot to do at this actual “camping site” but it’s wonderful for coming back to for a barbq and to paddle around the small pond in the kayaks provided by the host. The trailer has all the amenities of home and the hostess does not bother you unless you need to ask for something. She was lovely about keeping the AC on in the trailer so we were nice & cool in between excursions into town and the evening camp fires in front of the pond were a great way to end the days of exploring Hamilton. If you want a camping site this is not it. BUT, if you want a home to return to after a day of exploring the hundreds of lakes and rivers in Hamilton, this is a thousand times better than a hotel! The hostess was great and like I said, she was available but disappeared completely in spite of the closeness of the trailer to the house…. Not what we expected but exactly what we needed!

Old Barn RV Site
Just enjoyable
We were warmly welcome by the host and found a perfect place for our stay. Susan was generous to answer all our questions and even provide some information about the « Skalkaho Rd, » that was a great discovery. We do recommend her camp, where even the farm’s animals are as welcoming as their owner.

Great Location - Great Host!
We stayed in Susan’s RV on her property. It was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Nothing beats the morning views! Susan was so welcoming and humble. 10/10 Highly Recommend - Will be returning next year!
