Camping at this site offers a serene, wide-open space with beautiful views and a sense of seclusion. It's perfect for those looking for a peaceful getaway, though the lack of marked sites can be confusing, especially after dark. Most visitors appreciate the easy access and the quiet, pastoral setting. However, a few guests noted the challenges in finding the correct camping area and the presence of cow pies.

Quiet pasture next to rodeo grounds
33 ft travel trailer · With pets
The hip camp is a grassy field / cow pasture next to the Helmville rodeo grounds. We had the entire area to ourselves. Beautiful views, quiet. Outhouse was clean. We didn't see a single cow, must have been in a different pasture. Plenty of cow pies, so watch your step.
