Overall, not very good.
We followed the instructions provided by the host. However, both gates were locked and we couldn’t gain entry to the property. We ended up in a motel in Culbertson that night. Maybe we can try again some time!

Relaxing Montana beauty
Nichole has a huge, lovely property on a hill overlooking the ND Badlands and 2 coulees. We walked for more than an hour. Our dog was ecstatic to be off leash! The best part: Nichole brought us a hot breakfast with coffee in the morning!

Favorite Hipcamp EVER
We had such a special experience at Nichole & Wayne’s hipcamp in Fort Kipp, Montana. The land was just magical. Wayne & Nichole felt like friends immediately. They took us as a same day kind of last minute booking and really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The timing worked out that they were able to give us a tour of there lands and share a couple drinks and conversation. So refreshing after a long day on the road.
They’ve built a beautiful little convenient store on the property for the community and campers giving proceeds to help support the community. We bought some laundry detergent, sage and some other goodies. We will be visiting our new friends here again for sure!
