Enjoy outdoor adventures just minutes away, at the Amidon Memorial Conservation Area, a 1,630-acre area located on the upper reaches of the Castor River, located south of Route J, eight miles east of Fredericktown.

Closest to Castor Shut-ins!
We will definitely be back! This campground is right on the water with all of our favorite amenities. The host was super nice and it was raining when we arrived, he brought us a canopy to borrow so we didn't have to stay in our car after the long drive! This campground is also about 2 miles from the Castor Shut-ins which we were at for hours every day.

The waterside sites are amazingly peaceful and beautiful. Harless goes above and beyond to make sure you're all set. This was a very spontaneous stay but we will definitely be back

Camping with the family
My family and I had a great time at this Hipcamp site. A beautiful view of the Castor River. Super close to the Shut ins. Harnless is very accommodating to his campers. I very much recommend visiting this hipcamp site. Plenty of privacy and beautiful camping site to be at.
