Experience the Missouri Ozarks in all it's glory! Our property sits on 7 acres running on both sides of the beautiful, crystal clear Big Piney River. We sit right at the bottom of a beautiful bluff right along the banks of the river! We have a dry cabin, with outdoor water, bathroom and cedar shower house. We have a fully stocked new camper with everything you'll need for up to 6 people, including ice cold A/C! We also own a large beautiful sand bar on the Big Piney River perfect for setting up your tent or hammock camping (only accessible by swimming or kayak, which we can provide for a fee)This site is an adorable tiny cabin tucked into the trees and overlooking the beautiful Big Piney River. Our property runs parallel to the river and the Mark Twain National Forest on the opposite side of the river. Sit on the front porch and drink your coffee watching the sun rise over the water making the most beautiful turquoise glow as far as you can see! One room cozy cabin with two queen size beds and room for a blow up bed if needed. Small dining area and small, fully stocked dry kitchen with portable sink. Nice, clean outdoor restroom and amazing outdoor shower house with hot water and a full view of the river! (Shower only available when nightly lows don't fall below freezing) Outdoor spigot with fresh, potable water as well. (Also only when nightly temps allow) Ice cold A/C or heat depending on season. Couch, small table with seating for two, small dry kitchen with storage, propane 3 burner cook-top stove, refrigerator. Large front porch with seating, and hanging hammock chairs available. Several games to choose from for lazy nights in the cabin. Very large fire-pit (firewood available for purchase) with large, comfy Adirondack chairs. Outdoor picnic table with umbrella. The driveway for the cabin is currently 4x4 accessible if you're comfortable driving on very steep, narrow inclines (and it has to be dry) but there is room for one vehicle at the bottom of the road and then you can walk over to the cabin if you don't have 4x4. Our property is conveniently located a few minutes off I44 and minutes from Route 66. Because of the location you will be able to hear a slight sound of traffic in the background. There are several floating outfitters in the area that can set you up with a relaxing float of the beautiful Big Piney River. Sit and cool off in the river or relax next to a bonfire on the large sandbar across the river while the kids splash in the water. 10 minutes to Walmart or Fort Leonard Wood, 5 minutes to the nearest gas station and Dollar General, Uranus roadside attraction, mini golf and several kayaking outfitters. **Check in time is only set to 5:00PM to allow me time to do same day turns after my regular job. 99% of the time I will allow 2:00 check in if I don't have a same day and will let you know a couple days before your arrival.

Fall Trip to the Cabin

We had an absolute blast! The host was wonderful, kind, and very responsive. The cabin was also extremely clean! Having amenities readily available was such a nice change of pace, it'll be hard to go back to roughing it. This stay might have raised my expectations for future camping spots. Major bonus for a hot shower. Not to mention getting to sit waterside and enjoy a coffee on a chilly morning. That said, the highway was a little closer than expected, but as far as noise goes, but it was a low white noise at most and only when you're on the porch. This was a 10/10 and I'd stay all season if I could.

Second time, still lovely

Our second time staying here and awesome like before. New chairs around the fire were a nice new addition! Float trip on the Piney was beautiful.

Piney Bend Riverfront Cabin

Great little cabin and host!

Incredible little cabin with great views of the river and easy access to kayaking. More importantly, the host was wonderful! We recently adopted a new dog and weren't sure how he'd take to the outdoorsy experience. The cabin was perfect for a trial run, and we'll be back!

Cabin on the river

What a perfect little hidey hole right on the river. We came to celebrate my birthday and we couldn't have had better weather to enjoy all the amenities this property had. We loved that it was dog friendly so our pup could come enjoy time away also. We floated our kayaks right back to our camp. The river was beautiful. I especially enjoyed taking a shower outdoors after our float. Everything is well thought out as there is a camper there yet all the cabin amenities were private on the other side of the cabin. We felt like we were all alone on the woods. Would definitely go back. Yes, the highway is a bit annoying, but mostly we were able to tune it out and relax!

Piney Bend Riverfront Camper

This is such a little slice of paradise. From the open clear view of the lake to the fully stocked camper - we have absolutely no complaints! Everything was super clean and updated. The direct access to the river was also a huge plus for paddling and fishing. Highly recommend!
