We are a 25 acre organic farm, specializing in cut flowers and vegetables. We have a large pond (which is seasonally larger or smaller...) a few acres of mature hardwood forest, including some gigantic Ash trees, a couple of orchards, a short nature trail, and many plots of colorful flowers and veggies. On Thursday evenings from May to October, we host a wood-fired pizza club, with live music, delicious farm-based pizza, and a fabulous atmosphere. We are only 4 miles from Springfield, home to many cool activities, and just a couple of miles from Sac River Mountain Bike Trail, which has some great single track riding. We are super convenient to Interstate 44 (4 miles) and US 65 (5 miles), but also far enough from the highways to feel pretty removed and secluded. We're on top of a hill, so the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular, and the gardens, fields, and woods provide an endless source of wonder for young and old. There is a farmstand at the front of the property with fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, cheese, ferments, beef, pork, and coffee beans. If you are interested, you can even volunteer on the farm for a morning or afternoon to get your hands dirty raising food for our community. We love this place, and the work we do, and we love sharing it with others.
