Hidden Camping and Druzy Quartz
Hawks Bluff is an out of the way place that is quiet for getting away from every day life. Most of the property is tree covered and below the trees you will find more Druzy Quartz, and Missouri Lace agate than you can count, great place for rockhounders. If you are into fishing, the pond is stocked and there is access to Mill Creek. If you dont have a tent, but want to camp, Elizabeth has you covered. Rent one of her clean and decorated canvas tents. Elizabeth has firewood, ice and propane on site, cheaper than you can get elsewhere. If tents are not your thing, bring your RV/camper. She has a few 30 amp circuits available as well as fresh water hook up. If you need to dump your gray and black tanks, she is only 10 min away from Washington State Park. Rockhounders - $30 per bucket, very little to no digging required. Go to Facebook search for Hawkd Bluff Farm Rocks and Druzy for more info. I will be going back in October to look for more Druzy, work on cutting and polishing the beautiful Missouri Lace Agate.

Great place to get back to nature
Elizabeth's Land is such a beautiful place. It is situated in a very quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Primitive camping is available, and also full-service tent rental. The property features three 30-amp RV sites with water hookups, though there are no gray or black water hookups or dump stations on-site. However, Washington State Park is a 10-minute drive away and has a convenient dump station. If you must connect with the outside world, T-Mobile service is available. I have been here twice and will be back again.
Hawks Bluff Camping also offers beautiful finds like Druzy quartz, Missouri lace agate, Missouri crazy lace agate, and other rocks and minerals readily visible on the surface. There is no strip mining here. Bring your own gloves, tools, plastic garden spades, nylon brushes for cleaning, and 3 or 5-gallon buckets to take your finds home. The land has several plants and mushrooms that are available for foraging during the season. Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash. Check out her Facebook site for pictures and information.

Hosts were wonderful and most helpful with our trailer crisis. Very flexible with our needs. Spacing RV sites further apart would improve the overall experience. Also need to note that there is a steep gravel hill approaching the site where 4-wheel drive is advised. We got stuck on the gravel road pulling our horses but got great help from the hosts and neighbors.

Chill Getaway
We loved tent camping on Elizabeth's land. There is a lot of exploring to do. Rock lovers rejoice! The hosts were very accommodating and excellent communicators. Super friendly and chill people on the property.
Literally, zero ticks. I know that is based on a lot of factors but... just saying. Toilets and showers were very clean and accessible. Nice bang for your buck.

Great place to camp!
I spent two nights camping at Elizabeth camping spot in my own tent. For your own tent camping, you kind of just chose a spot that looked good to set up. I chose a spot near the lake and loved the view I had. They offer fire pits and free firewood for the cool evenings and have solar lighting to light some of the paths. They have an outdoor kitchen that is a little rough but very serviceable and the showers offer plenty of hot water. Combined that with beautiful views and the opportunity to hunt for fabulous rocks it was overall a great experience.
