Three crystal clear creeks to swim, wade, hunt rocks, or just relax. We have several tent sites right on the creeks and RV sites close for just a short walk for swimming fun. Right on miles of ATV, OHV, SxSs or hiking trails. Close to the Black River and the Current for floating, Kayaking or fishing. Clearwater Lake for boat rentals or Jet skies. Sites to see, Blue Springs, Big Springs Johnson Shut Inns, Elephant Rock, Rocky Falls, and many state parks to explore. We are also only three miles from the town of Ellington, MO for your shopping needs, several restaurants and antiquing.

Creekside Camping

Camp, Video Wildlife, Eat and Relax

I was greeted by Shelly, she toured me around the property with her side by side ATV. I make YouTube videos for my Outdoors Unsupervised channel. I really glad I got a head start in what I wanted to film and which ways I could go to do so. She did tell me before I came that the creeks were mostly dried up and I appreciated her lettin' me know before I booked. Shelly had told me the best times to come back for the creeks to be flowin' and def will be back. I did catch some footage of some wildlife as the bald head eagle I saw catchin' fish in the main creek right before I left was amazin'!!! It was quiet, relaxin' and serene. Had a hammock as I heard the birds chirpin' and the squirrels scamperin' around gatherin' food for the winter. Cooked some delicious food while I was there. 1 meal was a Hawaiian Teriyaki Pineapple Ribeye Steak lightly topped with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. Had a gr8 time !!!

Site 1 - Creekside Group Camping

Very understanding host

Unfortunately, it rained really hard and our camp site was flooded. In addition, it was a holiday weekend so there was a lot of ATV traffic all around us. We did not end up staying. The host was very understanding and issued a full refund. We might give the site another try at some point.

Creekside Camping

Hidden Treasure!

We camped here for a float on the current river but quickly realized how much there is to explore around the campsite. It’s the perfect place to bring a SxS vehicle as there’s trails nearby with scenic viewpoints at the end of them. The owner is kind and responsive. Clean bathrooms located with short walking distance to campsite as well as showers. Can’t wait to come back!

Sun Up Riverside.

We camped here for a few nights and we had a great time! The campsite was very quiet and the water was great! Lots of great things to see in the area as well!

Tent camping here was amazing. The deep water holes were fun to go in with the swing, beautiful scenery all around and easy to find. Highly recommend!
