Welcome to our cozy retreat just south of Warrensburg! Imagine 40 acres of pure bliss, just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of town. If you're keen on exploring "Amish country," it's a mere 30-minute drive away, offering a delightful peek into traditions and crafts. And let's not forget about Truman Lake – perfect for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The Katy Trail? Cyclists, you're in luck! Now, about those creeks...they're a tad on the dry side during the warmer months, courtesy of our drought-stricken area so they may or may not have water in them. But don't let that dampen your spirits – they still make for great spots to soak in the scenery (pun intended). And our resident armadillos? They sure keep things interesting with their digging escapades! On the flip side, nature can throw us a curveball with snakes, ticks, chiggers, and poison ivy. Consider it a friendly reminder to tread cautiously and pack some bug spray. Speaking of creatures, our furry friends love to make appearances. Our dogs are friendly and safely fenced in, though they might join the coyotes in a sing-along or give passing raccoons a piece of their mind. As for our outdoor cats, they're as friendly as can be but prefer to keep their adventures outside. Don't worry – they're more than happy to be contained if needed. So, whether you're here for peace and quiet or a wildlife-filled adventure (complete with occasional serenades from our four-legged friends), our rental property has it all. Come and experience the best of rural living – cozy camper included!Escape to the peaceful serenity of "A Little Solitude," our brand-new campsite designed for the ultimate relaxation. Immerse yourself in nature while enjoying the comforts of our spacious 40-foot 5th wheel bunkhouse camper. Step inside to discover a camper that truly feels like a home away from home. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, our camper comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The master bedroom features a luxurious residential king bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep surrounded by tranquility. The separate bunkhouse offers 2 residential twin beds, 1 camper twin bed, and space for an additional twin air mattress or pack n play, providing a cozy haven for a peaceful slumber. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. If you need internet access we do have T-Mobile internet available. It is a rural connection with the associated ebbs and flows of that service but you'll be able to stream shows on the smart tv's or check email on your laptop most of the time. Outside, you'll find a grill and firepit, perfect for savoring outdoor meals and gathering around a crackling fire under the starlit sky. Share stories, roast marshmallows, and create cherished memories as you enjoy the simple pleasures of camping in the heart of nature. As with our other accommodations, "A Little Solitude" offers you the opportunity to observe the fascinating wildlife that roams the area. Keep an eye out for majestic coyotes, a variety of bird species, wild turkeys, and the occasional presence of deer, mountain lions, and bobcats. Please be mindful of your surroundings as ticks, snakes, and poison ivy may also be present in this natural setting. While reveling in the tranquility and seclusion of "A Little Solitude," you'll still enjoy the convenience of being just a short distance away from stores, college campuses, and nearby attractions. Delight in exploring the Amish country, Truman Lake, and the Katy Trail, all within easy reach. Book your stay in our 5th wheel bunkhouse camper and experience the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Enjoy the luxury of a residential king bed, the convenience of two bathrooms, and the charm of the bunkhouse with its three twin beds. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors, relax by the firepit, and create unforgettable memories in this tranquil oasis.

A Little Solitude
A gem of a getaway!
The RV was perfect for our family of five to enjoy a holiday weekend together. Our children loved all the animals and there were plenty of parks and activities nearby to entertain them in Warrensburg. Melissa and Jarell are incredible hosts and we would love to come back again for a future visit!

A Little Solitude
Wonderful, relaxing getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay in Mellisa's RV, A Little Solitude. Melissa and her husband were wonderful hosts! They made sure we had firewood and everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We especially loved walking their 40 acre property, sitting out under the stars by the campfire with no city noises, and going to sleep in a beautiful, cozy king sized bed! The RV was bigger than I expected, which made my 6' 5" husband happy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our food. I love that Melissa and her husband are working hard to restore this land which was previously trashed, and I am thankful to be able to support their efforts. The only caution I would give is, if you're allergic to cats, this may not be the best place, as there are lots of cats outside who wanted to join us for dinner. We do not have any allergies, so we enjoyed the cats company.
