Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle on our 40 acre homestead. Enjoy watching our animals graze and frolic for a unique ambiance. We have rare chickens & sheep breeds, goats, Norbie (the pig), 2 old horses, a few mini dexter cows and geese to bring delight to everyone! We are always excited to let you help with animal chores if you want an immersive experience of homesteading life. Make sure to bring mud boots! We have several unique activities if you are intrigued to learn, or you can chill and have a quiet time in nature. Some interests we teach: wildcrafting and using medicinal weeds/herbs, gardening, milking sheep/goats, and working with/spinning wool! We are under major repairs and are slightly messy in some areas as we are renovating a broken-down bluegrass festival campground that has been falling apart for a few years. We are 30 miles north of Fort Leonard Wood on easy access roads. We can accommodate big and small rigs and tents. We are 20 minutes from kayaking on the Gasconade River, and approximately 45 minutes from Lake Ozark area.
