Peaceful Getaway
The spot is lovely and relatively private. They provided firewood which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and we would stay again. My only issue was the website says there is a bathroom available. Unfortunately you have to drive to the bathroom. They had moved it because they had a large group there for a reunion. We actually sleep in our van and set it up as a campsite, so it wasn't possible for us to drive to the bathroom every time we needed to go. It wouldn't have been a big deal if we had known ahead of time. We would have just brought our camping toilet. However since we didn't know, we didn't bring it. I'm not sure why this is saying I have to write a review to submit my low rating. I wouldn't rate this as "low". It's a nice spot.

Buehler Farms River Camp site 1
Nice site. Very private. The water was nice and cool and in general a great little spot. There was field irrigation going on the last night so there was some noise from the pump but not bad. The deeper areas in the river near the site have some bass in them but smaller ones. Still fun to catch a release a few though. The two sites are probably are around 1/4 mile or further apart so even if both had campers you would never see each other. There is porta john as listed but just one for both sites. Not really an issue for us and the one time it was needed we just drove to the other site. They did offer to move it but I think they forgot, but was not an issue for us. Host was friendly and helpful.

Buehler River Camp Site 2
BEAUTIFUL and PEACEFUL
This spot was LOVELY! So peaceful and well laid out, it was nice and secluded. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. They had twinkle lights that popped on after dark, not super bright just enough to add some lovely vibes and help you dig through your stuff a bit. Also gotta say, as far as Hipcamp porta potties go, this one took the cake, it was clean (no bugs or griminess) and had tp and hand sanitizer.
Just a note though if it bothers you, we could hear the train horn at night, as well as just classic country sounds (dogs at night, chickens in the am) not too close or too loud for sure didn't keep us awake but the train might wake up a little one.

Host was an hour late after a 2 hour drive to get there and then we were dropped off at camp site 1 instead of site 2. Not that big of a deal, but 50 bucks a night you should get what you signed up for, but….. the place is beautiful! Camp site looks like a well kept park. The water was cool and clear. A nice big fire pit. A nice covered picnic table with solar lights.

I didn't read everything to find out there was no water or electricity hook up. So I wasn't prepared for that but very nice host and site
