95 acres on the beautiful Topisaw Creek. Here we've raised 5 kids and a multitude of dogs, cats and chickens and a small herd of pineywoods cattle. The woods are quiet and undisturbed , harboring native species like jack in the pulpit, trillium and Florida anise. The spring-fed (and thus always refreshing!) Topisaw Creek forms the eastern border of our property, so plan to spend time on the sandy beaches and rock bars soaking up the sun or hunting for rocks and fossils (petrified wood and arrowheads have been found here). Many folks also enjoy a leisurely float down the creek in inner tubes ('tubing') or in a kayak. (Please note that after heavy rains the creek rises to epic heights and is too dangerous to navigate.) Little to no light pollution makes for amazing stargazing!

Magical Experience
We had such a lovely time at Camp Topisaw. Melissa met us our front to guide us to our campfire where he had already delivered plenty of Firewood (well worth the $25). We were relieved to find that the land was well respected with minimal litter and environmental damage. We found a handful of bullet casings on the sandbank and properly disposed of them. We were also very thankful to have easy access to an outhouse. Our campsite (#4) was beautiful and we loved having access to the river. There was plenty of wildlife including coyotes howling in the distance, owls hooting, a beaver slapping its tail on the water, and baby fish in the creek. At night the stars were bright and firefly larvae glowed green along our path. It was absolutely lovely and we definitely plan to come back. Thanks for sharing your land with us! 💓

Nice, quiete private camp sites
Great place to camp. The sites are all private and well kept. Nice trail to access sandbars on the creek. So much quieter than a state park. David was accommodating and showed me to a choice of sites. The option to purchase firewood is nice. I'll definitely be back.

Site 3
My husband and I went to Camp Topisaw for a few days. We chose site 3 so we can pull in with our smoker. The town and land is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Mr. David came by to tell us a bit about the history of the old cemetery and courthouse which we got to see on our back from town. I enjoyed the walks to the creek and was able to search for some very interesting fossils! I highly recommend this campsite! We will be back for sure!

Privacy and wilderness
Very accommodating and had a lovely time. Bathed in the creek there which was nice. Felt private for the most part. Was well educated on what look out for by owner. Plan to return at some point.

Camp Topisaw Creekside Sandbar
It seems each camp area is private. We didn't see anyone else in 4 days. The water was cool and clear. David and Edie are just wonderful. They don't intrude. Yet, make it clear if you need them, they will come running. The big site that we choose. ( the 40.00 one) was magical. Not even a bug issue. We had a perfect experience in every way. LOVE IT! And will come back for sure.
