After offering tenting only for the last two years, we have stationed a newly renovated 2.5 bed/1 bath camper at the site. Starting May 2023 the camper will have full electric and water hookups, including air conditioning. Fresh Linens will be provided, but you will need to supply bath/beach towels. The campsite is located right on the fringe of our field and the lake overlooking the water and a few lake homes. A 10 foot bank leads to our private dock frequented by large mouth bass. Sunrise in the morning, and shade for most of the day. Guests have access to free use of a canoe, and firewood that can be purchased on site. Our small lake does have a public access for boats, and is frequented by bass fisherman looking to get off the beaten path. Our house is 200 yards away if shelter from storms is needed. After offering tenting only for the last two years, we have stationed a newly renovated 1 Queen/2 twin bed/1 bath camper at the site. Hidden gem
Wonderful camping spot right near a lake. Derek was a great host quick response for questions. The fishing on lake thompson was awesome caught plenty of crappies for dinner, tons of big bass in the lake as well.👌 we will be camping here again it was so peaceful being near the lake and away from the cities.

Very cute! Camper was nice and dry, loved the AC when it got hot. Twinkly lights were a nice touch after dark.

Beautiful!
Beautiful spot to camp in and Derek and his family were awesome hosts, going above and beyond! Swimming, kayaking, napping and game playing all hit the top highlights. There was a cool breeze on the hots days to cool the campsite down (outside) and keep the bugs at bay. And AC if we needed it inside! Loved it!

We enjoyed camping on Derek's land. Directions were clear and host was very responsive. It was so nice not to have to bring anything as everything we needed was provided. There was also a great selection of games and movies available although we didn't use them because we just enjoyed the quiet and the songs of the mourning doves. We'll likely book again.
