Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Dan and Danielle bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! They hope you enjoy their place as much as they do! Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek

Dan’s place is the perfect place to escape while still being close to all the beauty the area has to offer. The land is beautiful with wildflowers as far as the eye can see. Dan was awesome. Super friendly and responsive. It was very nice chatting and learning about all of the peach trees on his land! He had great recommendations for hikes and some wineries and breweries in the area. We loved exploring the area, but mostly enjoyed the quiet oasis! The yurt style tents are clean and spacious. Would highly recommend!

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek

Stone Creek was a beautiful property with the perfect set up for a weekend getaway! We had a great site which provided a lot of privacy and the comfort creatures of a clean compost toilet and a tent already set up and waiting for us. Dan was a great host. He was friendly and welcoming.

Secluded Yurt-Style Tent

i would highly recommend Dans place! he is so friendly and so helpful! he also has very beautiful land for camping! there is a lot of bugs so be prepared for that, we used tiki torches and bug spray and that helped a lot! there is a little bit of a hike to the campsites, he has black carts to help you haul stuff but would also recommend bringing a wagon. another thing to be mindful of is there’s no electricity at the sites only an outlet by the parking area. overall had the best time and very much looking forward to going back!!

I highly recommend Stone Creek Farm Yurt campsite to anyone looking for a great camping experience and commend Dan for their outstanding hospitality. Our daughters had so much fun feeding the chickens! Also ask Dan about his organic peaches! Some of the best peaches we had.

"Plum" Perfect Campsite on the Farm

1st Time Family Camping Success!

What a weekend to pick for our first ever family camping trip! Feel-like temps around 100 degrees made for a hot & sticky weekend! Despite the heat, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & our stay at Stone Creek Farm! Dan was quick to respond from the first time I reached out with a couple questions before booking our campsite, & helpful until the minute we left! Upon arrival, Dan greeted us & made sure we knew all about the farm, where we could find drinking water, showed us where the common area was to hang out if our campsite (Plum Perfect) was getting too hot in the middle of the day especially, asked us what we were hoping to do for the weekend & then made many great suggestions for things in & around Taylor's Falls - such as best hiking trails, where to rent canoe/kayaks, where to see waterfalls, best coffee shops, and let us know about the county fair going on that weekend. Dan provides generous sized wheelbarrows to hike your stuff to your campsite (which was super helpful because you do have to hike a little bit in, so just be prepared for that.) He also has fire-wood bundled & ready to purchase. Our site was secluded & a tiny bit smaller than we were expecting, but perfect for our family of 3. It was very nice to have our own composte toilet right by our site with toilet paper provided as well. Ask Dan about his delicious peaches & if any are in season to purchase! They were amazing! Thanks again, Dan, for your wonderful hospitality! We appreciate you!

Yurt Style Tenting

This place was great! Dan was a very nice, intelligent host. Very welcoming when we came. The walk to our campsite was great especially with being able to use the carts to get our stuff to the site! The land is just beautiful and it was fun walking through the trails that he has throughout his property. My fiancé and I will be staying here again sometime in the future! A lot of things to do nearby so it’s just a great place to have some relaxing time after adventuring out!
