Plenty of outdoor spaces to hike, bike, fish, canoe, and paddleboard! Property adjoins to a bike trail that will take you into town and varies other places including a newly installed 18 hole Frisbee Golf Course. From Turtles, to Eagles, chances are you will see both during your stay, along with a deer or 2. A nature lover's paradise, you'll have the opportunity to fish or simply relax and take in the serene surroundings. Guests are welcome to fish the ponds, but it is limited to catch and release only. We trust that all guest will be respectful of this policy and of the land. Spring Valley creek Runs along the property and guests are welcome to fish that as well. There are seven camping sites to choose from - one of which is even located on its own island! Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustle of leaves as you take in the breathtaking views. Located in Spring Valley just a half a mile outside of town, and just a 30 minute drive to the charming, quaint town of Lanesboro. Plenty of shopping and places to eat! This is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But If you want more of the city experience, Rochester is an easy 35-minute drive away and offers all the amenities and experiences of a bigger city.

Camp Lyra

Best Hip Camp in Minnesota

As dedicated Hipcampers we have visited many properties in Minnesota. This was the absolute best property we have camped at. The grounds were so well maintained it was like camping on a golf course. The ponds and paths were incredible! We will be back to this property soon.

Peace in chaos

Excellent spot with plenty of activities around the property. Secluded yet easily accessible. Falling asleep to the sound of the frogs made it easy to forget for a moment the chaos of the world. Bug repellent is important as it is near water.

Camp Orion

My buddies and I had a great time staying at the Orion site. We initially booked Lyra but the site was wet and we also wanted the ability to drive to the site. Leslie was very helpful and switched us to Orion. We were in the area for trout fishing and it was neat to have the trout ponds there and to see the size of the rainbow trout. I highly recommend staying here and plan do visit again myself.

Burdock Island

We had a great time on Burdock Island. the property was beautiful, and the hosts were very thoughtful and helpful. We particularly enjoyed taking the rowboat out on the pond, and the easy access to the bike trail, and the great view of the sunset.

Burdock Island

I love the nature and wildlife especially the creek and trails to bike trail. I love how they landscape very neatly and makes it feel warm welcoming. If you like backpacking style or rustic camping, then you will love it! Trouts in ponds and creek are amazing to look at and catch em is fun!
