Beautiful private pine tree forest with a single campsite located on Little Jay Gould Lake which chains up to Pokegama lake to the south and the Mississippi river to the north. Your campsite is located 1.5 miles from the renowned Tioga mountain bike trailhead! Bike from your site and be on some of the best riding in the region! Walk down the private drive to the lake which has a dock and southern sky views. Request permission to rent the paddleboat to cruise for the day, or bring your own boat and launch at the nearby public landing and tie up at the dock. There is a porta potty located near the site along with running water access at the pump house by the lake for your convenience as well. This spacious and level campsite is nestled halfway down a straight driveway in a beautiful pine tree forest. With just a short walk further down the driveway, you reach Little Jay Gould Lake. The campsite has fit 2 5th wheel campers at the same time and has been home to our 45ft motorcoach before, so there is plenty of room, but the entrance can be tight, so if you are in-experienced, please contact us prior to booking. The site is peaceful and you will have no neighbors besides the family of deer that take up a home in our woods. This site is doesn't offer any hookups, but there is access to a porta potty just down the drive between the campsite and the lake. There is access to clean tested potable water at the pump station near the lake for your convenience. There is a little red boathouse that is currently getting renovations and will soon allow wonderful indoor seating by the lake with a small deck for enjoying the views. Sorry we do not have this completed yet, please keep out of the building for now. Please take any waste with you and practice the leave no trace camping.

It was a great stay! Our group of 9 fit perfect here. The only issues we had was that the portapotty was quite small for any larger person, and they have no where local to dump trash. Other than that, we would be happy to stay again!

This was the perfect spot for our overnight stay! We used our teardrop camper and it was so private and peaceful while still being s couple minutes away from a clean public beach and only a short drive to the nearest town. I got up early to watch the sunrise on the lake and was pleasantly surprised to be joined by a couple of deer ☺️ Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our group of 5 with 3 large dogs enjoyed tent camping! Great flat land for with moveable fire pit to allow for any setup. Surrounded by tall trees covered with a path leading you to lake view and another fire pit! I would recommend this place. One down side was the weed overgrowth by the dock but we were informed of that prior to booking. Great host highly recommended checking their place!

Great quiet place to relax, enjoy.

Was very easy to find host was very responsive and accommodating. We had a Ford E350 van and 16ft trailer that easily fit and turned around if pulled in just right. Great secluded and quiet location we heard lots of birds and other animals. The shade is abundant with a small opening in the pines for the right amount of sun. Water access is weedy but a beautiful view with a nice seating area on the shore and a fire pit. The lake house looks like it will be a great place once finished. We biked to the Tioga recreation area within 10/15min with 5 kids. The bathroom was not the greatest just stinky with spiders but it is nature. We will definitely be keeping this place on our options list for our next visit in Grand Rapids!
