Belle Creek Bluff is on 28 acres of prime land in Welch. Belle Creek runs through the middle of the property. Walk, swim, paddle, fish and explore the this beautiful spring fed trout stream. There are a number of hiking trails on the property. Bordering state lands to the east of the property provide endless exploration and hiking adventures. Hike to the top of the bluff for a spectacular view of Welch valley and the ski hill. Hiking NE along Belle Creek can you spot the old model A truck along the banks? There are eagles, falcons, finches, and many colorful birds to see.

Island Blue

Mellow Yellow

Really wonderful camping spot!

Our family stayed at Mellow Yellow and had a great time. The water was low so the kids were able to run around in the creek. The creek is mostly silt but they had a blast playing in the mud. You couldn't hear the water as much as the other reviews stated but it's probably because the water was lower. There were hardly any mosquitoes and there were shady spots around the campsite. Really great spot overall! There were no other campers when we stayed there. The only thing we ran into was someone had left a pair of shoes by the parking spot and we weren't sure which cart to use because there wasn't one specifically left at our site. There was also not a lot of firewood left for us to purchase but we did pick out the good pieces left and used those. I had messaged JT with some questions prior to booking and didn't get a response. Although he did message me about the firewood shortage and where I could buy some if needed. The spots are really nice and very much worth the drive there! We will be back soon! Thank you for creating such great camping sites!

Island Blue

Beautiful and secluded land! The Island Blue site is a hike for sure but worth it. This site has plenty of room for everything. We brought a tent and a mosquito net for over the picnic table and still had room to roam. The creek is right there next to the fire pit. The same goes for the other sites, which we explored after everyone was gone. I suggest water shoes for anyone wanting to explore tubing or relaxing in the creek. We did see a fisherman walking up the creek wearing waders. He did say he caught some fish within the property so bring your poles too. The paved walking/bike path is very close by.. The town of Welch offers tubing just minutes away on the Cannon River across from a small bar & restaurant. The Belle Creek sign at the entrance is small and easy to miss though. The top 6” of the poles are painted. One yellow, one blue. I can see why they ask not to turn around near the neighbors property. We would love to go back again if they would have us! 5 stars for sure for the perfect rustic getaway.

Green Canopy Cabin

Loved everything about this place!

Wow! Had no idea camp sites like this existed! Our family had the best time! We got to take vantage of the creek and the fabulous hiking right outside the cabin! Loved crossing the creek with the wagon provided! Such a cool experience all around!

Green Canopy Cabin

Absolutely beautiful place! My kids and dogs and I had a great time, despite it being pretty hot weather wise. The creek was lovely to swim in, area around the cabin was nice and shady and there were fireflies at night! Can’t wait to come back.

Green Canopy Cabin

We had a great stay! The setting is beautiful and the kids spent hours playing in the creek. The stars at night were amazing! It was so nice having the cabin & 4 cots. Trekking across the creek was quite an adventure! Highly recommend this place. Will note that we did have some issues with mice with the cooler temps at night but otherwise, fantastic!
