Learn more about this land: This is an old family farm site near the heart of all there is to see here in Munising. We love to share the history and hope you enjoy all there is to offer in the community. There are water adventures galore. Trails for hiking and trails for side by side adventures. Many fantastic restaurants, breweries and pubs. Gifts and memorabilia shops galore.This is an old farm site where I grew up and now spend summers camping. We are in the process of rebuilding. We love to share the history and have a resident tour guide if you’d like to hire for the area. Dogs are allowed however owners are responsible for all actions. I hope you enjoy your stay in this area and see the sites.PACK OUT YOUR TRASH PLEASE! First time ever had someone leave their mess behind. Let’s be kind.

We loved the location - it was close to many attractions and trails that we wanted to checkout! It was great that there was a few camp sites on the land to choose from. It was an amazing place to stargaze and we were able to see a bit of the northern lights at one point as well! Definitely recommend.

Nice spot close to town

The farm was great. We took the furthest back spot which was very large and had beautiful oak tress for some shade; there was a nice breeze up there. Plenty of spots to choose from to set up our tents, and a small rock fire pit which worked well for us. There were three or so other spots closer to the road, but still far enough away to feel like camping in the woods. It was nice to be so close to town and activities, and it was really easy to find. Would recommend if you're looking for a place close to town to camp!

We loved van camping on Julie's land! The property was easy to find and the sites easy to identify. We were the only ones there the first three nights of our four night day. Other than a little bit of road traffic sounds, and we chose to use the site closest to the road so it may be different on the further back sites, it was quiet and peaceful. If we make another trip up to the UP, we definitely would stay on this farm again! It was so convenient to get to all the places the area had to offer that we wanted to do and see. Thank you, Julie!

Heads up on terrain. I understand dispersed camping is rustic, but I have no idea based on description what I was in for ......I felt safe for the night which is what I was after , and host was VERY responsive.....just not one I will be back to.

Beautiful but not great for trailer

Beautiful property. Driveway was a bit difficult to spot as there is just a mowed path that leads back in. Very limited for our 18' travel trailer. Another camper graciously allowed us to share the front spot as our trailer could not get to the spots farther back in. There was some road noise but it was doable.
