Riverside Retreat I
Clean and private. The river view was beautiful. We had a great time and would go back again.

Would come back
Beautiful place down by the river. Lacey had everything prepared and it was a nice little setup. The one downside is that if people are staying in the house, they have to walk right by your site to get to the river. So we had people walking by constantly with a large group staying at the house.

This was a unique stay in a yurt with beautiful river views. It had the provided amenities in the post. Be prepared for a walk down a large hill to the yurt. Be sure to bring bugspray. We expected road noise noted in the listing but did not expect voices of neighbors in the middle of the night. There were no issues but unanticipated.

Glamping 10000%
Lacey was super welcoming and we enjoyed our stay! Definitely a glamping experience everyone should try. Without the hassle of building your own tent, all we had to bring was the food and cooking equipment. Lacey was accommodating with our pups too, they had a great time and enjoyed the outdoors as much as we did. The scenery was magical too, a tall grass path led us to the river where we could sit out and make marshmallows on the bonfire. Would 100% recommend it.

The yurt at Lacey’s was a perfect place for a nice rest during a long road trip. Lacey was very communicative and responded to messages promptly. The property is somewhat close to the highway but you barely notice the traffic in the background after a bit. The camping spot is located behind the main house, but it’s far enough away that you still have some privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

SO EASY
Lacey has excellent communication.
The site is well curated. On the edge of Niles in a semi remote neighborhood. Behind a “main” house (really lovely) you still feel in your own & safe. You do hear the sounds of the highway, day & night but, with enough conversation and crackling of a fire, can fade away.
Photos are true to site. Well Maintained grounds. Luckily it didn’t rain.
Definitely suggest the yoga and kayak addition.
Very convenient for a quick stop during extended travel.
Note: Narrow cots. Intimate tent(spending most time outside anyway)
Niles is on the rise of tourism. Not commercially. Independent owned businesses.
Iron Shoe Distillery has quality food and bottled cocktails.
Make the stop at Lacey’s glamp site and have a blast
