Plum Orchard Acres consists of 23 total acres in Southeast Michigan. The land is roughly 5 acres of woods, 3 acres of yard/farm, and 15 acres of prairie with a couple of paths that lead through all that the property has to offer. In the summer, the farm is lively with a cut flower garden and orchard and in the winter guests can enjoy axe throwing and a wood burning hot tub to keep warm. Plum Orchard Acres is a 15 minute drive from Waterloo Recreation Area, Pinckney Recreation Area and Portage Lake (for hiking, swimming, and trail riding); and a 30 minute drive to Ann Arbor and Lansing for those interested in museums, visiting Michigan's capitol, or a variety of foods!

Relaxing anniversary weekend

Rustic Micro Cabin

Beautiful location for a romantic anniversary weekend, sadly the weather did not accommodate the use of the hot tub, but we will try again next time. Host was quick to respond to all questions and all our needs were met. Even our pup, who is afraid of other dogs felt relaxed and comfortable.

Jo’s cabin is the cutest thing ever! We have stayed here twice now and she never fails to amaze us. She is so kind, considerate, thoughtful and helpful! I love it here and I can’t wait to find time to come back!

I loved getting to stay at Jo’s mini cabin. We spent our night making a fire to fuel the hot tub and roast marshmallows. Her land is beautiful and there are walking trails to explore it all. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves making fires and wants a cozy stay for the night!

Rustic Micro Cabin

Camping at Plum Orchards was a truly relaxing experience. The micro cabin was a short walk from the parking (a wagon was provided to haul gear) but felt much more remote. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and beautiful fresh cut flowers were a great touch! The hot tub was perhaps my favorite part of the trip and a great place to relax and read a book.
