The Lot - Beach Camping
Awesome Spot For Adults
This place is excellent for adults who want to get out and enjoy Lake Michigan. We originally had booked a site right on the lake, but a hard rain right before our arrival made the ground there pretty soggy so we moved across the road. All of the camping that's not on the lake side is surrounded by Federal forest land which makes this place feel very rustic and secluded while still having access to a real bathroom and shower which is a huge plus. There are rustic tent sites as well as cabin like accommodations so if you're looking to get away from the city but also want something a little more comfortable than a tent, you should definitely give them a call. I would 100% come back here again. The only downside is some traffic noise from the state highway, and the host (who is a seriously cool and down to earth guy) does use a bit of colorful language if you're sensitive about that sort of thing.

Beach Site #2- Just Show Up Camping
Beach site #2 was beautiful! The first night we arrived, our spot was too windy, but Mike was able to let us camp on another site. That site was nice too! The spots were clean and peaceful. The only downside is the busy road. You can hear the road from the sites and it’s scary to turn off of or on. This wont stop me from staying again though. The water itself is worth it!!

Trails End
Host was super friendly. Even though you can still hear the US 2 traffic, the site is still secluded. Perfect amount of space for our family of 4 and dog! Beach right across the street was convenient.

Beach Site #2- Just Show Up Camping
Host was very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our site, but was given another. Being near the beach was wonderful. The stars at night was remarkable. Would love to go back.
