Heavily wooded forest with pine, maple, oak and birch. Undeveloped and quiet. The property is home to numerous bird species, deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Occasional howls from distant coyotes and infrequent raccoons.
The campsites are located on a hill dominated by tall pines overlooking the east facing property. Secluded, but only a 800 feet from the main residence. Only 1 1/2 miles P.J Hoffmaster's State Park and a 10 minutes ride to Grand Haven State Park/Lake Michigan.
Campsites are rustic but we provide camp toilets, a picnic table and a waste container. Fresh water is available at the barn. We also provide a shelter with picnic tables and a charcoal park grille. A large fire pit is available with wood provided at no charge.Overlook Lot 1 is located on the western side of our property atop a small hill. the site is approximately 20' x 30' and outlined in small logs. Guests have access to walk the 11 acres and to use the park stove and pavilion. A water spigot is located on the north sided of the barn.
