One hundred years later, it's back to farmland, woods and meadows! Learn more about this land: Set up camp on an oasis in central Detroit! Detroit Farm And Cider is a 4-acre urban farm with plenty of grassy and shaded space for campers away from the noise of the city. You'll have access to a fire ring,farm fresh produce, birdwatching, a portipotty outhouse, and nearby transportation to get downtown or wherever you need to go. Kids are welcome, pets must be leashed.

Secluded Urban Farm
My group had an amazing time at Lee’s farm. It was such a sweet little sanctuary in the middle of busy detroit! Lee, her family, and the farmers who worked there were friendly and helpful, and we loved spending time with the cuddly farm animals. We will definitely be reaching out to Lee to camp next time we are in Detroit!

Super generous and welcoming hosts!
Lee, Eli, and their daughters were super welcoming hosts. My young boys and I really enjoyed our time there.

Secluded Urban Farm
What a gem!
When we first pulled up, I thought for sure the directions were wrong. But then we saw the entrance! That’s how secluded it was! It opened up into the most wonderful urban farm! I was finishing up a call in the car, so my husband went out to meet Lee. She gave him a tour of the grounds which he then gave to me! Free range chickens, a micro greens greenhouse, and common area are just some of the highlights! We slept so well! There was going to be a concert Saturday night which we were invited to stay for but we had to get back on the road. We will defiantly be back! There was so much to do in the area. We love going to cities and typing “attractions” into the GPS. It’s amazing what you find!

Secluded Urban Farm
Unique and Peaceful!
Lee and Eli were great hosts. I enjoyed a camp fire chat with Eli about the farm and met some friendly campers posted next to my site. It was quiet at night and a beautiful little stay in Detroit!
