We provide two gravel pads with full hook-ups for RVs and an additional grassy area with electric and water hook-ups. For those without their camper, we offer the option to rent a beautiful camper on-site. What an incredible campsite! A gorgeous view (you can't beat the sunrise here); less than 15 minutes from several beach access point on Lake Michigan; the most ideal host one could ask for. You can't beat staying here. Leslie was incredibly responsive, gave concise instructions on how to access the property, and told us she would be available if we needed anything. Side note: I messaged near 10PM to let her know we'd be in late and she got back to me in under 5 minutes. You won't regret booking here. In fact, we left the next morning to continue our trip and found ourselves wanting to drive back and stay at this site again. We'll be back next time we're in Michigan. Thanks again, Leslie!

It was a nice quiet spot with plenty of room to set up and not worry about other campers in the way. Bonus full hook-ups for our camper!

Welcoming hosts & a relaxing stay

We recently stayed at Leslie and Greg's property and had a fantastic experience. Leslie and Greg are incredibly welcoming and responsive hosts, making communication a breeze. Their property truly lives up to its name—we saw deer on several occasions, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and quiet. We met their parents and they are truly inspirational. Leslie provided us with detailed directions that made finding the property easy. The location is perfect, with convenient access to Traverse City, Manistee, and all the charming spots in between. We are already looking forward to our return visit!

Peaceful camping..

Great property and hosts!

We had a great time at Deer Run Retreat in our full hookup site! Leslie was super responsive and directions were clear. Lester & Claire are an adorable inspiring couple we just loved interacting with. The property is close to Meijer and Manistee Downtown. We had a great time hiking at ‘Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area’ as per Lester’s recommendation. Not far from there, we also hiked the trail in ‘Orchard Beach State Park’, visited Manistee lighthouse and sunbathed at ‘Capitain John Langland Park’. We visited breweries and restaurants and spent a good relaxing day at their beautiful property as well. There’s a lot to do and we’re looking forward to coming back!
