Single rustic camp site on CK Ranch. We have a large area to camp in any configuration next to our forest with walking trails. The camp spot is near one of our pastures that could have horses or cows. Walk in tent camping site could also be arranged. By appt we could do a farm tour with your group. We have horses, cows, fainting goats, peacocks, ducks and chickens! Power and water may be available in the future.Camp site in open field at the edge of forest. Camp site can accommodate any size vehicle. Parking lot available nearby . Dispersed tent camping available down walking path instead of campsite. Walking path available. Pets, campfire, hammocks all allowed Please be aware the camp is on our working ranch. You may or may not see horses and cows in pasture. The walking trails go into our back yard. Please stay on designated trails. All outbuildings are private. Assume all fences are electric.

Awesome Hosts, Great Site

Had a long weekend and some new gear to try out, so we decided to look to the north for a campsite. Everything was booked, not to mention packed full of people. Then my brother told me about Hipcamp, and everything changed.. We found Clinton's Ranch site and it checked all the boxes: close to where my parents were staying, dog friendly, and isolated (one campsite only). Clinton was super cool and easy to deal with. He pretty much told us we could do whatever we wanted there and walked me back to check out the site, a nice mowed area tucked back in the woods. We spent 2 nights in perfect weather, not far from modern conveniences, which is good because there are no toilets on site (not even an issue at the price per night). Just bring a bucket toilet or something similar and pack in all of your water and you are set. It was paradise for 2 days. I would DEFinitely recommend this site and I will definitely be back someday.

We loved our time there! The pasture was beautiful. The forest area was beautiful! The farm tour was the best! It was really nice not being around other campers and having to make sure the kids stayed quiet.

Nice quiet place to stay, convenient to Bear Lake and a short drive to Manistee. If you like golf a very short drive to Wolf River a nice course nearby. Host was very friendly and the horses were great scenery.

Clinton is a great host with a nice tucked away pasture for tent camping (the RV portion is closer to the road), with a friendly horse to say hi to every morning. He even offered us a farm tour with his other barn animals! This would be nice fun for families with little kids, as there are small trails running through his property. If you're a light sleeper, I should note that this there is some street noise throughout the night (Amish carriages, an occassional car, etc) and their are dogs within the area that bark excessively. BUT, if you're like us and are active all day long on your weekend getaway, you'll still crash and sleep soundly after an adventure-packed day.

I forgot to add he’s got some really cool animals on his farm. You should definitely 100% check that out. Also, while there is no water spigot right at your campsite, Clinton did let me fill up my 30 gallon tank.

Piece of ground

This is what it says. A piece of ground on this man’s property. No other campers. There are 2 areas to choose from. I think I would pick the more private spot further back. You will be completely hidden from 11 mile Rd. The front spot will experience some minor traffic noise and Amish run their horse and buggy regularly.
