Private RV site nestled conveniently right off Hwy 31 in Charlevoix! - Only 11 minutes from 2 Torch Lake beaches and boat launches! - Just 5 minutes to a little-known beach on Lake Michigan w/hiking trails (Rex Beach) - Only 12 minutes to historic downtown Charlevoix (have you been to the big red lighthouse and large beach?) - Famous Friskes Orchard just 30 seconds down the road (orchard for picking, giant kids play area, restaurant, custom apple products and more!) *NOTE: This site is located in our front yard in front of our house on our land, but you’ll never be bothered by us and your privacy is ensured.Park your RV here! Enjoy your own private 30-Amp RV Site w/water where you don’t have to deal with any other campers- just 10 mins to Torch Lake and 12 mins to downtown Charlevoix! - 5 minutes to 2 little-known beaches on Lake Michigan with full beach access + a network of marked hiking trails! - 3 wineries and a local craft brewery w/in 7 minutes - Large apple orchard w/ big park, farmers market, cafe, and kids activities just 30 seconds away! + more! Fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table included at site. ***NOTE BEFORE BOOKING*** *This site is in our front yard in front of our house, but we do not go out front while guests are present, and you won’t be bothered. You may see us drive down the driveway some, but that’s it. *Site is close to HWY 31, so you will likely hear some road traffic, but it’s minimal. Site is located in our VERY large front yard near our house, but you’ll enjoy total privacy. **No sewage drain available on site. You MUST use your own RV toilet and empty your sewage tank elsewhere after your stay. PS- Feel free to drive in the grass near the pine trees in front of our house if you need (if you have a bigger rig) as you’re circling the driveway to pull into the site. OR… If you feel your rig is too large to drive around the loop, you can also feel absolutely free to turn to the right immediately after passing the pole barn and pull straight into the RV site (in the middle of the trees in the front yard), if you prefer. Either way is fine with us.

Very awesome hosts. Campsite was local to Charlevoix and Lots of other beautiful beaches. We spent an afternoon on a nearby golf course and had and amazing dinner at Torch Lake Cafe. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Clean and Easy accessible plus very kind hosts.

It would be helpful for the host to have pictures of how close the campsite is to their home and to be very clear about this

Location! Location!
19 ft travel trailer
This was our first experience with Hipcamp. Really did not know what to expect. From the descriptions and photos we gathered we would have privacy and space to ourselves. As we have generally been rustic campers this suited us just fine. Recently we became RVers, having spent our camping years tenting or in a teardrop. To dive into a RV Park or State Park scene was too big of a leap for us. This Hipcamp site fit our profile nicely. Although we were basically in a front yard, large, that is, we had privacy and plenty of space, even for our boat. All and all, the decision to stay at this site was based upon location, location. We were close to Torch Lake, accessible boat ramps , nice restaurants, farmers markets, etc. Our days and evenings were spent exploring the area and having a campsite nearby to come back to and start a campfire was ideal. The camp host was friendly and helpful. We love the area and would stay again. Linda and Harry
